Why would anyone race a Dodge RAM D150?

The owner of this 1981 Dodge D150 has had other vehicles that he raced autocross with. But this one is "special". And a bit dangerous.

Cool truck, but sounds like you should do a Gen 3 HEMI swap, Holley sells conversion kits, and SUBLIMEparts makes custom Engine harnesses and ECU's for the HEMI swap in that truck, would spice it up to about 350-400HP, just make sure to get 2009 and up, 2011 and up is the best HEMI's

Hey how did u wire that four prong Chevy module hei system up iv got an 86 DODGE shourt bed and I'm puting a 73 360 in it and I wanna go with the hei setup too

Those d150 are very fun! I bought mine for $450 no engine or transmission. Got a hemi from the junkyard for $400 45rfe transmission for an other 200. Truck is fast now
