I noticed this as well. Also- if he's telling the truth, their identities match up. Black Swan keeps calling the Meme "Death" and he accuses her of being an Emanator that "brings death". My personal HC is that she doesn't realize what she is or what she's doing, and her forgetfulness is a symptom of that. She can't handle the truth of her existence so she forgets about the people who are hurt around her after a time. Not matter how hard she fights or how hard she tries, she's trapped in a spiral of disaster because she IS disaster.

Was I the only one who fought Sam the weirdest way possible I had blade Dan heng (the one at the star of the game) mei and the trailblazer on my team when I went to fight Sam I was Drew’s but with the ability of mei I got some good hits in with blade Dan heng and the mc u til she died and then mei and the trailblazer and only blade was left standing but becues of blades heal regeneration I was regaining heal almost every time he punched me and I only had to do the first ability of blade and not the 2 one or I would lose and I somehow won with only blade

I have a couple of theories re: Firefly and Sam. 1. Firefly is Sam’s “conscience” or whatever, and Sam is her physical body. Something must have happened when arriving in Penacony that separated them, giving Firefly her own body and Sam his own conscience/mind. Then, when they reunited, they couldn’t merge back together because they were their own people. So they ended up exploring together. As to whether or not Firefly is alive…I don’t know what I can say. 2. Firefly is sick, and the Stellaron Hunters promised her a cure if she helped them in some way. She was desperate, so she had no reason to say no. This theory doesn’t tie into Sam as much, but it’s a work in progress.
