Love that you have a mat for your car mat. Have to say the car mats in my SLK are such high quality that they still look new after a wash with soap and water even though I am pretty sure they were supplied with the car when it was new which would make them 18 years old in a car driven over 100,000 kms.

Best and most reliable car I have ever owned.... 3 years of problem free 75000 miles in my 2004 slk200. Just insured and taxed for another year too. Definitely recommend. 2 mates now own them now too on my recommendation and love them too

nice review. I am now having a R172 (ex r171) and can feel the difference of the power, with higher torque and power with less rpm. I remembered the need to rev the R171 to almost 4000 rpm before sufficient torque to get to 100 km/h in abt 10 secs.. yet to test the R172 on the highway (due to MCO).. anyway, managed to zip on the SILK highway within Kajang and Putrajaya and already felt the difference. with regards to the top, yes i had some small problem with it and therefore seldom put it down on my previous 171. However, i noticed there is a difference in the R172 which i think will allow me more topless drives in the future!

I have that very same model. I take it to independent garage, service & MOT, £250. U.K. Love the hard top/convertible, much safer. I originally wanted a Mazda MX5, but this has more room inside & a bigger boot.

25:45 that signal stalk on my dad's W211 is dumb. when u are using the wipers and u use the left signals, the wipers stop working.. Guess it is some complicated wiring issue right there.

Good thing is that this doesn't use the V6 M112 engine cuz that has 12 spark plugs and since its a SOHC so let's say the 2.6 E26 variant, highway pulls can be quite a struggle to those who are used to DOHC setups.

It's nice though this SLK hehe plus I love the low end of the sound system but not too much la hehe the ideal one would be the low end with some vocals to blend in for clarity hehe #dttis❤️ #GermanQuality✨29:56 from what I hear is the low end is punchy which is good maybe a little too much bass hehe try to blend in with the vocals a bit
