I was big fan of Dr Ghamdi until I realised that he opposed most of Imams and hadiths but still I am impressed by his style of talking. Dr Israr Ahmed one of the greatest scholars of the century, I couldn't listen to him for a long time due to his talking style. So result.... Seek the knowledge and not the style :)

Islam is a beautiful Deen and prohibits us from what is wrong and harmful for us and whatever creates 'Intishaar' in the society. Our Deen permits us unlimited things that are good for us. The more we get closer to our Deen the more we stay safe, healthy, thankful and satisfied. The more we try be liberal the more we will be far from our Deen and may cross the limits and boundaries that are set by Allah S.W.T. According to a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I believe it's better not to even go close to the prohibited things because there will be a chance that we may enter in it someday. Crossing the limits of Allah S.W.T means 'Tabahi' for Dunya and Akhirah. Without any doubts, Quran is a complete Guide and 'Mukamal Zabita e Hiyaat' till the day of judgement.

It's not them who are right. It's the majority of islamic scholars who are right in saying that pardah is necessary and obligatory for women when they are amongst unrelated men. Ghamdi Sahab said that the particular ruling was only temporary, out of his own will. He has no evidence to prove it was temporary. Therefore he cant claim that it is. He conveniently ignored all Hadiths regarding the matters as well. The Quran clearly tells women not to even walk in a way that will attract attention to any jewellery on their ankles. But Ghamdi Sahab says it's okay to display your jewellery that you're wearing. Just one example in how wrong he can be.

It’s extremely sad that these interviewers are quick to judge and quick to become angry. These are the types of people who pray five times a day, read Quran, but know nothing about Islamic history and the importance of kindness and respect. Just an FYI, if you are doing all your prayers and reading Quran everyday and fasting everyday of Ramadan, yet you don’t know how to be patient and calm, your prayers and fasts are honestly meaningless. Muslims are so quick to judge, especially those who lack education and empathy. If I was Ghamidi, I wouldn’t even bother with them. Their ears are deaf and their eyes are blind. I pray to Allah to give these people some sensibility and decency. Why do you think people are drawing away from Islam? Because people like these interviewers make Islam seem so harsh and they respond with such ridiculing and uneducated interrogations.
