Salvation based SOLEY on works is wrong as you’ve stated, but Sola Fide (faith alone) is also incorrect. This tradition which is popularized in Protestantism isn’t biblical, there’s no expression where we’re told that faith ALONE is what saves us. Rather we’re told to continue working out our salvation(Philippians 2:12-13) and that faith alone doesnt justify you but works does (James 2:24). We should see works a faith as inseparable from each other, and with this also the components of the sacraments needed for salvation.
