My husband Adam decided to share his testimony on battling with anxiety and depression and his coming to Christ. He is still on his healing journey like a lot of us, we appreciate your prayers and pray that his vulnerability will give you hope.

Thanks for sharing your story, I battled anxiety and depression for many years, but Isaiah 61:3 threw me a helpful nugget in dealing with it, a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Read everyday as much as you can in the book of Psalms, if you have anxiety and/or depression. I had depression and did this for almost a year. One day the depression was gone.

I am watching this from India at 4:27 am after a full night of being unable to sleep. Anxiety is so difficult and anxiety attacks/ panic attacks are the worst and hypochondria takes the joy away from the brief relief I get during the day . But I've begun reading the bible and praying more. If Anxiety brings me closer to God, It will be an immeasurable gain for me and it will be worth all the agony. So please pray for me so that I may grow closer to God and become a true Christian, not a lukewarm one that I currently am.

Adam and Sarah, what you are describing are panic attacks, they are truly terrifying. I've had less than 5 in my life where I called 911 because I genuinely thought I was dying right then and there. Heart rate over 200bpm and blood pressure in the 160s. *In Jesus Mighty name I pray you be permanently delivered from anxiety, depression and panic attacks, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.* I struggle with moments of anxiety. It was inspiring hearing this, atleast once a day when I start getting anxious over something involving my health, especially my thyroid, it's overactive. I hear Jesus saying "Bring it to me..." and I break down in tears telling Him everything, then Holy Spirit provides peace and comfort. He made me sensitive to everything in my environment. I'm so grateful He saved me from suicide, addiction, terrible panic attacks and a truly shattered and broken heart. My soul feels full of His love. Now, we're working on having fearless faith, in the Lords Mighty name Jesus Christ ❤ I love You Heavenly Father and I know you'll always be with me.

Adam, I suffer from major panic attacks too…they are just full of terror and dread. There is actually a Jesus loving woman here on KZbin “therapy in a nutshell” and she has a three part series on panic. It completely changed how I look and feel about it. I have the same problem with sensations mimicking panic and then they become real panic. I’ll be praying for you. Our God is a God of restoration! You have been afflicted and you will be healed for His glory!

I woke up this morning and had a small anxiety attack. I didn’t know what it was. I prayed to God to help me understand. Hours later I come across this video and I understand what I went through. I don’t think I ever realized my anxiety and depression was from trauma. I’ve had so much trauma from a young age . Thank you so much for sharing . Jesus has healed so much in my life . Just wanted to add: That when you were praying, Adam, the Holy Spirit was really ministering powerfully and deeply into my spirit and soul and therefore body too. I just started to cry… Your prayers are powerful, sir, so don’t allow the enemy to stop you doing the works of God! I’m a born again Christian that suffers from on and off anxiety. The best weapon is the armor of God. I also use a foot spa with epsom salt that works during an active attack, also Yogi stress and immune tea works great as well.

Dear Adam, thank you for sharing your story. And thank you Sarah for providing a platform for it to be shared. This message really hit home. I lost my mother to cancer related issues when I was quite young. She was also a single parent and watching the only parent I knew deteriorate was hard. I have a lot of anxiety, especially around health, as well as depression and claustrophobia. I prayed so much for her healing and losing her took away the child-like faith in God I always had. This message came after another anxiety attack and feeling a strong sense of isolation. It was encouraging. Adam I pay for the manifestation of God’s perfect healing on your life. Watching this, I feel encouraged to keep believing in God’s absolute victory over my mental health.

Amen amen amen! Sarah and Adam I love listening to you both so much, these testimonies are so powerful! A few years ago I moved to Korea and suffered some of the worst anxiety during my first month there. And to add to it I felt so guilty about it because I was a Christian so I wasn't "allowed" to feel that way. I also saw many non-believers around me doing fine (I later found out they weren't really) and not having issues and I was so confused. I then found a church and on my first Sunday there the pastor was preaching about anxiety. The Spirit was speaking to me through the scriptures that he read. After that day I never felt that anxious again. Recently the enemy has been trying to use anxiety against me again because I am in a season of waiting on God for answers but it doesn't have the same power that it once had.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. The Holy Spirit used your testimony to shed light on how bad my anxiety has been building up lately. I could not stop sobbing, the Holy Spirit just wrapped me in love and pointed me to your story tonight. I too have struggled with anxiety for most of my life and the way you described it paints it so well. The biggest battle of my life began last year when God called me back to Him. I fell away from our wonderful Father and He took all that I idolized from me. He took my health, my job, my home, and my marriage. I had to let go of my pride in self sufficiency and still depend to this day on family and friends to support me with a bed to sleep in, money for necessities, and emotional and spiritual support and guidance. I know that God will deliver me from all that is going on, but man does it really bring anxiety to rear its ugly head! Anyway, not sure where I was going with this, but you and Sarah are in my prayers. I wish I could explain over a comment just how much this channel has been a blessing and a wonderful tool God has used to bring me closer to Him. I know there are countless others too. God has used you both in such amazing ways and I will pray for your journey of healing from anxiety and He continues to bless you both.

Thank you for sharing your story! I recently read a small book by Corrie Ten Boom, called "Defeated Enemies" that talks about spiritual warfare. It has helped me with understanding the role the enemy plays in our emotional and mental wellbeing. I have a history with depression, and my husband has the anxiety you explain. Reading Corrie's experiences were so empowering. Your story reminds me of some of the situations she describes. God's healing is SO amazing, when we realize we can own it. The power in you is the same power that raised Christ from the dead. We have the power to drive away spiritual tormenters in His name as well.
