I am still married…36 years now….I thank the Lord for Jimmy and Karen Evans. God used their ministry to help me stay married to my husband. It was at our 17 year anniversary that I was ready to leave…BUT GOD.🙌🏼❤️

Not everyone gets married. There is a desire, but then there is reality. I'm seeing God bless people in all ages with marriage. If it happens great, if not great. I say this because this is a lot of people's reality. Let us depend on God. In his son. His son is the way. I am a person who needs my Lord. There are blessings that come and healing that comes through marriage or being alone. Please don't look at singles and ask when they plan on getting married. I listened to Jimmy for over ten years every Sunday in Amarillo. He has a great ministry. Don't forget the singles. But not about getting married, about how they can get in God and doing his work.

When Jimmy was talking about how him and his wife were different, I swear he was talking about my husband and I😂I was laughing so hard but what he’s saying is so true! My husband loves to go out and I would rather stay at home. He gets me out of the house and I keep him grounded.☺️

I have to disagree from the start when he said we’re incomplete and unhealed and God uses marriage to fix that. God is the only one who can complete us and heals us, we need to be whole in God and healed by God before going into a marriage; whatever unresolved problems we have in our singleness will follow us into our marriage and impact our partner
@ericawray1116 Жыл бұрын
Yes I agree. The way I perceived that comment was that whatever we bring in marriage (because we all have stuff) God used our spouse to sand paper it out of us and hopefully our stuff draws us to the Cross. I could be wrong but that's what I got from it. 🙂
@saltnprepper Жыл бұрын
If we have to wait till we are “ complete “ or “ healed” to get married then I really doubt anyone could get married. We are a work in progress.
@sibylgale52083 ай бұрын
I agree with Both the other comments. And, I heard that each of us are healed/whole enough to go forward with Marriage. But, isn't Marriage like the 'Rib' rejoining (being connected, attached back to) the body it was fashioned for? Then there was more Completeness when the 2 joined together. Without the other person, something is missing. But, we get what you are saying.

I don't think it's like that for my husband and I he just can't communicate he's extremely narcissistic sarcastic and vindictive I feel like he has a lot of mental health problems. His dad and his brothers are just like him they all think the same please pray for marriage thank you God bless you.

I'm not kidding you Jimmy sounds just like my husband because my husband admitted to me you thinking about someone else intimate time and that's what he says to me he told me the same thing miss you just basically get over I mean it's something much worse but my husband is so very narcissistic and it's very vindictive my husband has been late several times first special occasions with me and he flips out on me cuz I get upset with him it would say basically the same thing that Jimmy would say when he said that on there just listening to this now getting buried in the stomach because that's exactly how my husband would treat me and he hasn't he does treat me he forgot my birthday even and when I finally was like always sure you didn't forget anything when he realized he forgot my birthday he flipped out on me for the rest of the night and that's what he does. I don't think I could be with too much longer I need help please pray God convicts him thank you. God bless you.

Honest question: How can I celebrate the difference that my husband is an atheist, and I´m not? It doesn´t seem right to celebrate that.
@donnamckenna1509 Жыл бұрын
You don't celebrate that, you pray for your husband for the Lord to bless him

I’m right there with you! Married 38 years next month. I get angry with myself more now that I married someone who doesn’t know the Lord or even cares to. I told my son please marry a believer most important decision you will ever make. I pray and pray. “Unequally Yoked” God instructed us not to be “Unequally yoked” So Hard😢

I've grown past my husband spiritually and he chose not to... (like so many women I know) Now we disagree on most things. Can hardly talk about God.. The thing is - I can hardly find any sermons out there, from any pastor/preacher that gives any advice on how to deal with that. They ALL say: "husband do this, wife do that...then you will have a happy marriage. "

As soon as someone says “the Lord spoke to me” I get suspicious fast because that is a classic sign that someone is creating their own narrative and then putting that narrative in God’s name to give it the appearance of credibility. Sure enough, he created his own narrative and billed it as biblical truth. 11:10 “Adam rejected Eve” Show me that one in scripture. Adam didn’t even name Eve until after the fall and he chose to name her “mother of all the living”. He gave her a title of honor. How is that rejection? If you let these people ramble on long enough they will hang themselves.
@Cararara1987 Жыл бұрын
I'd love to know where he got that from too.. nowhere in scripture does it sat Adam rejected Eve 😅
@bluespruce679 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I too, was rather taken aback by that statement that Adam rejected Eve! It's Not Biblical. Now, of course, Adam blamed the Lord for giving him Eve after their fall from grace...."That woman You gave me...." But that's typical! Always blame someone else....right? So, I'm not so sure this guy has it completely correct. Anyway, my two cents, folks! ☺️

I don't see that Adam rejected Eve but he definitely threw her under the bus.
