I have an electric skateboard and it has a TON of torque. When I first got it, it whipped me straight onto my back because I just went full throttle. Because of this i rarely let anyone ride it, but I had a friend who I would always pull him on his longboard. I thought that he was readyyy. One day he asked to ride it and i said so many times “LEAN FORWARD!! IT WILL TRY TO THROW YOU OFF” He says “got it” He then proceeds to fucking body slam himself straight on his back. The board went so fast forward that it swept his feet clear into the air. He was perfectly vertical, it was like a cartoon when someone steps off a cliff 😂 he was just suspended there. I will never forget that. Its why no one will ever ride my board ever again.

After a few minutes of chatting I let him try and he proceeds to get on and instantly go full throttle. My boy has the segway one and 2 surron x and i absolutely love them, but it was so funny, we tried so hard not to laugh but they convinced their very out of shape uncle to ride one, he "used to ride real bikes, like harley and Indian, not those weak toys" and he definitely was underestimating the throttle even in a limited mode you can program on the Segway with your phone, and he then felt confident and they were like "let it rip gary, don't be a puice" he gave this look like "dont call me that" and he gunned it without any momentum and it just shot out from under him and he was body slammed so hard!!!! He was definitely in misery that whole weekend, slept til like 1 p.m. the next day and was very sluggish trying to play it off lol.
