I agree that you're more than likely to find a man of sub par quality online, but I have to say there's an equal if not bigger number of girls that like playing games too. I don't think it's gender exclusive. Also women use white lies a lot more than men to make themselves look better or the innocent one in a given situation. Without explaining, ignoring or twisting some of the finer details. Especially online because they can be whoever they want to be and there's no real life consequences for being awful. I feel like this is not a gender based issue but a personality type. It can be either men or women. Not all guys "like playing games" as you put. I met a guy on tinder and talked to him for 3 months before I realized he was just playing me. This guy and I had a lot in common and he made me laugh, was hardworking, and we talked every day for those 3 months. Anyways, he actually went to my college and we never met bc he went to school on the days that I didn't go and so I went one day that he was there and I posted abt it so he knew I was there. I was in the library and saw him walking with another girl. That's when i knew that he really wasn't serious abt anything he told me. You can meet ppl in real life, live with them and it still takes years to get to know them or find out they have a hidden family/relationship. So it doesn’t matter where you meet as long as there is mutual understanding and setting up a date to meet in person after you’ll know if this person is the one. I see that with guys too, they proclaim their love for you before even meeting. One said before we even met that he would do just about anything for me. SMH. My feeling is that some of these guys are lonely and have faced a lot of rejection, so quite desperate. And then there is another portion (certainly for women too) that still dream of a "perfect" super-human that is 100% what they want, without any flaws, anything they would want to change, that understands them perfectly like their personal mind readers. Ms/Mr Right. The benefit of the doubt causes these day dreamers to project all their wishes on someone they don't know. Notice that you don't have to do anything special to earn the wishful love of these dreamers: they do all the work projecting fantasies on you. So it is not necessarily guys that say what they think would work to attract women. Some men or women just fall for ghosts even if the ghost barely said a word.

This is hands down the absolute best advice you have ever given....the reality is if women took the time to actual observe a man before emotionally entertaining him, 95% of the later "relationship" questions you get would be either answered or never come up. Women have to use logic, reason, and intution more when considering a potential mate. If we do, a lot of guys would not be able to waste your time and energy or break your heart.

You know what happened to me: I went to ice skating with my friends for the first time and they tried to teach me how to skate. Then i saw this really cute boy and he was trying to ice skate to. One of my friends held my hand and we didn't had gravity so we bumped into that guy and his friends and my friend and I started to scream and then they started to scream. It was really funny. Later i was still learning how to ice skate and i fall. And guess who was in front of me. THAT CUTE BOY. When i fell a laughed and than he laughed too and than he hepled me get up. My friends were laughing so hard. After 10 minutes he tried to ice skate by himself without the help of his friends and he bumped into me and i held him. Basically we were hugging. Then he ice skate for 5 more minutes and he left. AND I WILL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN

The difficult thing is that what they present is curated. You cannot see all aspects of them. You can't hear their voice or experience any instinct triggers that they may have like smell, voice, mannerisms. It creates a strong attachment because of a fantasy version you build up. You cannot see what their friends are like, how they treat others, or what they do daily until you meet in person. Often those meetings are limited unless they move to live nearby. I'm kind of in the opposite situation. She contacted me through an app. I was cold, at the beginning, because she lives on the other side of the world and I thought it was a waste of time. In this new workplace she found old friends and colleagues and she was happy because she could hang out with them. I feared that she might find someone else but I knew I couldn't (And shouldn't) prevent her from having fun and hanging out with her friends. I needed to trust her and that's what I did. She started texting me lesser and she said it was because she was too busy with her job and I believed her. Indeed, when she was videocallling me in the weekend, she really looked tired. However, once last November she called me, while I was having lunch break, something she had never done before, while she was still at the office and she even took me for a tour around it (There was no one around). I don't know why she did that but I was happy because she thought about me even if it made me think that it wasn't really true that it was impossible for her to use the phone while working, but I didn't question her because I didn't want to have a discussion and I didn't want to look needy. She called me that evening and, for the first time, she told me that "We are just friends". When I asked her if she started dating someone else, she became defensive but still denied that. I knew she was lying. It was devastating. The following week I had a breakdown. I told her how much I love her but she didn't care. I apologized for something I said months before because I thought she was mad because of that (We never had a fight! She never complained about anything) but it wasn't about it. That weekend she called me and dumped me. She finally admitted she started dating someone else even if, she claimed, it was only since one week (I clearly didn't buy that). I wasn't mad at her. I was devastated and felt so sad and lonely. I didn't scream or insult her. She told me we could still be friends, an offer I rejected. She asked me not to block her (I'm not sure why she would even care) and almost begged me not to call that a farewell. I went no contact since the very next day and I never heard from her for the next to months. Last Sunday it was her birthday and I didn't wish her, not because I hate her but because the idea that she was celebrating it with that other dude was too painful. I fell for a guy at work. I wasn't interested in him at first though, I was trying to get hired and starting a new job. I barely noticed him and then over some time. So he might be attracted? How much time is a long period of time? It's been since the end of March. I started going in for the hiring stuff, I started the job then a month later and a few weeks later. It hasn't been as much because I rarely see him, we work different schedules. At first, I would go in and he would be getting off but he was there for a bit. Now I am working less, have a different schedule and he has been gone. So I have only really had a little bit of time with him and maybe 3 work days with him where I worked a few hours and he was there.
