Your videos helped me so much. I’m a Navy Corpsman going through NREMT and I had to switch off the TCCC mindset since the military and civilian side of EMT do things differently. Used your videos for a week straight and passed first try! Thank you for expanding my medical knowledge and capability!

I'm in emt school man and I'm a slow learner and I have memory issues so it's hard. I might have to endure the same. And do it over and over again. It's tough.

I took a 14 day boot camp for emt. I don't think I would of done as well without Evans help. I signed up for his course and everything made since in class. passed nremt first try with no problem. thanks Evan and keep up the great work. much appreciated and definitely recommend. next up...aemt and more of your classes.

My EMT class was like "Here, read the Pearsons textbook and we will let you know when we start labs." 3 weks later we started labs in person, the teachers asked questions nobody knew the answer to. We later started doing Trauma/ Medical assessments without an example or even go over the material. We were not sure on what to do so our instructor got mad and started saying we were not ready to test and that we need to study more. The instructor proceeded to grill us and pretty much called us trash, instead of going over the material and giving us an example the instructor was just disappointed and was not even trying to teach us anything. I hate my instructors they never really helped with anything. I understand things better watching Evan explain it.

Well, you're not wrong. Can't be upset with you for nailing it on the head lol I'll be honest, in 2 5 months in and discouraged. It it a a lot of information for emt-b course to take in...

Hey Evan, love your vids, been watching for awhile now! Can you do a video about common medications/drugs given by a-emts/paramedics? Example: adenosine, atropine, lidocaine, amiodarone etc, what their functions are and when it’s appropriate to use them? That would be amazing

Hello! I’m currently in EMT school.. 3rd week in and classes are not in person.. and only once a week we have lecture through zoom.. I read and take notes, but I am struggling to retain the information I read. I really wish I can have in person lecture and hands on time, but that just isn’t the case with the school I’m in. Unfortunately, it’s too late for a refund and I’m trying my best to do the best I can to understand the information. Any tips..?

I have a question! I have hyperhidrosis, I can’t imagine working with extremely sweaty hands. My hands sweat even if I’m not nervous. Is it something that’s more common than not or just don’t even try emt ?

Passed my EMT Basic class in 2019, and gave up on it.. Now in a few months I’m moving from Cali to Florida and going back to school. How do we make sure we stand out for the companies hiring.. I’m sure they hire from a few places but I know ambulance companies prefer some EMT schools over others. I.e a 3 week online EMT class vs a 12 Week in person course with an instructor.. Should I contact the places I’ll be applying at eventually and get their opinion on what program to go through?
@TheParamedicCoach2 жыл бұрын
The program that you go to has little to do with whether you get hired, if you are certified you fit the bill. Off the info that you have given me, I always recommend a longer program, as I discussed in the video EMS programs are accelerated as it is, making it even more and just skating by, doesn't help most people learn.

As a emt basic in training I wish you wouldn’t charge people for your videos kinda shitty bud you should want to help people become the best emts they can be not taking advantage of struggling emt students who want to help others
