Why You Lose Games as a "Star Player"

question: why do you never suggest brawlers to team mates, sometimes they listen and it can help you

It's like a bunch of different reasons, but 1. I find that just letting people pick what they want works out more often than not, because when I suggest people a brawler they play like ass since it's not a brawler they usually play lol 💀 I only really suggest brawlers if it's something game winning/losing, like Frank being open on that one hot zone map over buzz. 2. Suggesting has its own etiquette sometimes, where if you suggest someone a brawler then they expect you to pick their suggestion and then switch. Their suggestion is almost always terrible for the draft and I don't always wanna play the brawlers I suggest anyways 3. Suggesting others a brawler makes me think too much about my teammates, which isn't a great habit to pick up since it just gets me hyper focusing on them during the game and then getting angry/distracted 4. I hate it when people suggest me because the bright flashing is annoying and 9/10 times their suggestion is terrible/distracting/I don't want to play that brawler. So I try not to use the system much and then encourage people to do it in their ranked games lol

i used to adopt a "if im star player, its not my fault" type mentality, same as other games like in valorant "if im top frag, its my teams fault" but genuinely after getting a more healthy mindset of identifying what i myself can do rather than the uncontrollable circumstances of my teammates, its not only more fun, but i win more also drink more water everyone!

Moral of the vid: ranking up in Ranked is 40% ingame skill and 60% drafting. Outdrafting the enemy as a whole team means winning even if the enemy is full masters.

Hi bedlam I have an idea so read this comment and you're not gonna regret it Im hardstuck legendary 1/2, i've watched my replays and i don't really know what i'm doing wrong. Since i hit legendary 1 i feel like i suck at the game as much as those "bad randoms". Maybe i could send you some replays and you would do a review of them. You could get replays from your other viewers too and make it into series where you comment and give advice on your viewers replays. You can pick replays of random commenters who are subscribed and liked the video and this in turn will boost your engagement under your videos which will make your channel grow faster. Overall I just think it's a great idea (also because i want my replays to be reviewed lmao).

I’d recommend just getting comfortable with 3 or so brawlers because be comfortable/good with your brawler is more important than how strong or meta they are. For example I always play Pearl in bounty/knockout because I’m comfortable playing her.

If I had a dollar for every tick who has made me lose in hot zone. Playing tick in hot zone shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what the objective is. Like pros all play tanky healing comps in hot zone for a reason, because they can stand on the zone but tick can't without getting squished immediately. So yeah, you're so right... They think they're carrying but in reality they're really not doing much to help. Hate having to do 1v3s because my tick is hiding behind a wall

i just got starplayer playing Gale on dueling beetles and with all modesty i carried the match. But did i won? no my team got crow and leon against poco, bibi and spike (i got first pick btw) their team was WAYYY better composed then ours, not to mention that my all teammates stayed in the zone all the time, when we could split at the sides and one single player stay on the zone at the middle. but yeah, in this case, it wasn't my fault, but i'm just showcasing how a good team synergy can make the difference between win and lose, even if you are playing better than them.
