Graphite is highly reflective but black. I wonder why we don't use that yet? Also if screens had small concave holes it would reflect less light from external sources

Do this yourself paint your wall or screen a darkish grey....thats all thats to it, black looks blacker making light colors stand out...contrast...been doing this with my led dlp projectors for about 6 years.

Hey man, I really liked this video. Are you able to help me with something? I really want to install a projector screen in my van that I live in. To do this I'm just going to use an IKEA Tupplur black out blind. Should I still get the black coloured blind over white? I was also going to just use an AAXA M6 portable projector as, well it's one of the first I came across and it has 1080p, do you have any suggestions for a projector that may actually be better quality but cheaper? (portable)

This projector gets the job done pretty well. kzbin.infoUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

I will stick with my Cinegrey screen. Having a black screen like that insanely crushes the blacks and dims the hell out of your whites and colors. If you want the best of both worlds you just have to have a dark room with no lights on and dark walls plus ceiling. Movie theaters have dark rooms and white screens for a reason.

This why my home cinema room is black all around, sofa is black , glass coffe table clear glass with black edging, home cinema unit black 7.1 speakers black speaker stands black amp bluray player black. Samsung tv screen frame is black whe I turn light off I see only the picture nothing else, all display and lights are off. You see how much difference this makes and nothing is reflecting light back onto screen much more colour then a room with non black and nothing is highlighted in the room from the light emitted from the your screen. To distract your eye example your watching screen but you can still see furniture or the walls around you in you view same time as trying to watch screen pitch black is only way for a true home cinema room i.e. how it is in the cinema lights out nothing but screen
