Hello Mr.Llama! Thanks for your Videos and your Info about Diablo 2. Since release of Diablo 2 Resurrected start gaming Offline with my naked Javazon..Grinded like 2 years almost to get near to full endgame bis. Since Terror Zones got released 3-4 months later read that bug about Andariel on internet.. p7 and around 300MF with Enigma on was farming Terrorized Andariel. The drops are simple insane.. after 2 years finally found items which prolly will never find in my life. Also got like x3 Gryphons like tons of Facets but farm her just for a week only. it is broken but vs endless Baal runs for offline mode atleast its huge help to get gear faster.

last night I was in random FFA PS5 baal runs. They were terrorized, and somehow I managed to pick up a baal wave GC even though i was not the closest to the drop and I'm not fast at all. Like, I had no business being the one to get it lol. I ID'd it with deckard thinking nothing of it-- assuming it would be trash like all others I pick up. I don't even look, just to to mala to prepare to sell off the junk I picked up that run. When shop window opens, I notice the charm is still red-- weird. Required level:83. It took several seconds of staring at it to realized what I was holding. Off the ID from a terrorized baal wave monster-- Lion Branded Grand Charm of Vita with a ~perfect~ +45 life roll. Needless to say, I freaked right out. Now to find a buyer.

So in general, in first 4 minutes of video you get all info you need, bigger area level= more experience and unlocked higher level loot that usually dont drop in these areas + Sunder charms.

So the way we do it on computer is that we just change the time on our system. Technically on console you should be able to change your system time and so you go off the timetable to find what zone you want.

Sometimes when I need full rejuvenations I mob farm the catacombs on hell and end up finding a good number of decent unique drops too as a bonus to just doing Andy

I can't for the life of me figure out why the hell I'm so interested in farming D2, but here I am. Edit: If single player terror zones are based on client clock, shouldn't you just be able to change your system clock to whenever you want it to be for the zone you wanna farm?

I've ran 100 nightmare cows and nothing with 275mf and 50 to 60 countess hell runs and nothing but vary low runes nothing above sheal is the magic find broken??? I'm on Xbox series x console

It's random, I've gotten some really lucky drops and other times I've gone weeks with just crappy stuff! Also mf won't affect rune drops just item rarities

Lots of guides. Start farming countess for runes and make trades if online. An ist generally gets you some of your best item pieces.

my SP Nova Sorc has been stuck at lvl 89 for quite some time, (came back to game recently after being away for over a decade) the lower zones don't give me the xp/drops I need to advance and when I try and push the higher stuff (I have cleared thru Hell) I get Gobstomped and end up losing the 3/4 bars xp I have managed to obtain. have Spirit sword/shield Vipermaji armor +2 lightning skills head and a soj & resist ring a resist ammy ....if I try and max my MF out can get to around 356, but then I cant kill much in Hell level.....cant get arachnids mesh so far or a better weapon any input would be appreciated. A2 Merc has Insight, Eth Duriels Shell (upgraded) and a mid level helm....working on high runes but not there yet. I have farmed Andy forever, a good amount of Arcane Sanc Mephy in hell is a slower farm for me atm...I look at Silopen as well but the drop gods don't seem to favor me so far.

If you want to level up I would recommend swapping your build for something safer. Though level 89 is pretty high already. As for gear, I think next step for you would be getting Heart of the Oak, which can be obtained by just farming the countess or doing something like popping chests in low kurast.

nova sorc is dangerous without really good gear, and sadly doesn't get fantastic MF from her solid gear as well. I would say swapping over to blizzard would be a better solution so you can MF and kill without as much risk of death. Even frozen orb/hydra or something is safer

You could exchange the Spirit sword for a Cresent Moon runeword (-35% enemy lightning resistance) if you have an Um rune. That's effectively increasing damage by 35% versus monsters with 0% lightning resistance and by 70% for one with 50% res and better than what a Spirit sword offers. Needless to say, Griffon's and facets everywhere will increase damage output as well. Even though a nova sorc cannot wear that much MF, she's faster at killing than a blizzard sorc and the amount items depends a lot on killing speed, not just on MF. 100 kills per minute with 100% MF will provide more loot than 50 kills per minute with 250% MF (also because of diminishing returns of MF on rare, set and unique items). In addition, once you reach a certain damage output, the novas will put the monsters into hit recovery most of the time which makes things safer again.

Speaking as an oldie moldie d2:LoD farmer; this insanity is what D3 put a stop to, especially now. You can fairly easily get your build going, and the game now is about PERFECTING that build. Getting the PERFECT rolled item instead of just being stuck with the absolute pure insanity of having to do thousands of runs at specific times... im almost 40, im not getting up at 2am to run an hour of andy terror zones lol WTF is this? no. kick rocks, blizz. kick entire rocks. Great video though Mr Llama. very informative.

The title isn't literal, it's just making an emphasized suggestion for people that farm bosses. I've never farmed bosses & ive been playing since D2 came out. The truth is though you don't need the rarest items. I also played D3 for a few years after it was released & it was just raining rare items. Infact D3 is built around Item sets while D2 is built around your character. Now I wish they'd done what they did in D1 & made all items & skills useable by any class. Making items harder to get is not a problem & it also creates the feeling of accomplishment when you do get an item even if its through trading. Also when they designed D2 they knew trading was going to be necessary & trading makes any build possible. Many D2 players will give away items.

Almost never traded anything. Tons of good items as well. Drop slightly worse versions of things you got, that sort of thing. I think they did a good job with all the runewords available now too that just didn't exist back then. Helps a little bit.

I can certainly attest that Andariel has better roll chances than Diablo and Baal in Terrorized Zones, in Normal Mode and via my experiences at least. The only hindrance is navigating those damn Catacombs!! Teleport shortens the trip, otherwise going through door by door takes some time. Maybe better rolls is your reward for putting up with the Catacombs 🤣

The problem with Andy is that teleporting the catacombs online is slow since both lvl 2 and 3 doesn't have patterns to know which direction to go.

You really do start finding a lot more items once you get to about 200 magic find. But after 200 it's really not worth the struggle. 500 brings in maybe A 20th more per hour than 200

I play singleplayer. My main problem is that I'm very unlucky with rune drops. I did over 1000 LKs a lot of other stuff but still never got a VEX, LO, SUR, BER, JAH, CHAM or ZOD Rune. Nothing higher than an OHM :-(. In addition to that no Shako and no Spiderweb Sash. Currently I play a Hammerdin and the worst is: no skiller for him. For other chars I have a full inventory of skillers sometime up to 3 with high +Life. The Sorc was never very fun for me but I guess I have to level one just to profit from teleport. Btw. Gheeds was also very elusive for me. I found my first a couple of days ago with more or less the worst roll (I think it was 100 GF, 10 vendor and 22 MF). With the GF I'm not 100% sure but all rolls were more or less the worst. And I never found a facett. But already two SOJs (but I'm too much chicken to do uber Diablo :-)).

You keep going, that's the only way to get the drops. I have over 5000 LK runs lately. All in /players5 because that gives the highest chances for a BER drop. Sometimes I get 500 runs with nothing and then I got a LO and a BER within 10 runs of each other.

Playing ssf singelplayer too, found 2hrs in cs around 300runs 2 hrs 500 travi runs 0hrs 1000meph runs 2 hrs 50cows and in only 100runs arcane sanctuary 7hrs!! All runs done players 8 So best way for singel player is arcane sanctuary in player 8 and only kill ghosts and open chests, runs are super slow took me around 7mins each but in my opinion so fast to get ever 20runs a hr

Anything over 2-300 mf is a waste imho, prefer lower mf and faster kill speed. That and this is all only odds, I've played since 2000 and never found my own soj, but I've found perfect tyreals, etc etc. Mf is mostly just dumb luck lol.

getting back into diablo 2, been like long time, are there instances where say monsters can drop the base item but not the Unique version? if not, why not? im still confused on how TC works and area and monster levels

To drop a unique item, a monster must have both sufficient mlvl for the unique's Qlvl, and be dropping from a treasure class high enough to include the base item. Unique and set items have a Qlvl that differs from their base item's qlvl. Monster drops will roll for an item base first, and then roll for its rarity. If the rarity check rolls as a unique or set item with a Qlvl that exceeds the monster's mlvl, then it will drop as a rare or magic item instead. A failed unique becomes a rare item with triple durability, and a failed set becomes a magic item with double durability. Most monsters have an mlvl equal to the alvl. Champions have an mlvl equal to the alvl+2, and unique monsters' mlvl is equal to the alvl+3. Superuniques and bosses have pre-determined mlvls. Sorry if anything here is incorrect, but that's my understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong.

He's arguably the worst since he can already drop every item (bar some small charms) when he's not terrorized and he's loot capped to players 3, there's less overall benefit to running him as a terror zone than someone much easier to reach and kill like duriel/andy/meph.
