Thank you for the detailed video. I own a evolution serger, but watching you gives me the courage to try different stitches using my detailed instruction sheet.

Thank you, Ron. That was really clear and informative and just what I needed, especially in relation to the stitch's intended use. I've just tried the 5 thread safety stitch on my Desire3, but the chain stitch side looked much too loose, despite altering the tension, so I'm tryin to find out what I'm doing wrong. I should say I had used it on a stretch jersey fabric, so maybe I'll see if it's better on a woven instead.

Needles wear. When you change stitches it is usually a good time for a new needle.
