There are quite a few Looper videos on YT that predominantly explain the buttons and controls on the pedal. Few really explain how to actually use it to Loop. This video does that and is probably the best Looper video (of looping) on the net. I am a member of YGA and if you are serious about learning guitar or improving your playing I would highly recommend joining.

I've had a looper pedal for several years and never really got to grips with it, nor my effects pedal to be honest. I'm going to give it yet another try, not being really technically minded is a big hindrance I think.

Another awesome lesson. This indulges me to request a full length guitar looping lesson series. I hope you will do it soon Dan. Love YGA ❤❤❤

I bought an Ehx Grand Canyon for the ambient delay presets, but i discovered that has a built in looper! I had a hard time using it perfectly, but this guide is very helpful and clear. Thanks YGA!

A very nice explanation of what we can do with a looper. I've had a Boss RC-3 for a couple of years and honestly have used it very little. This video has inspired me to give it another shot. Thanks for the ideas I now have floating around in my head!

Ditto, I've had a Boss looper for several years and have never got to grips with it. Sounds great when you see it done well but I was already lost 5 mins into the video!!!

@@kc8923 I've actually been using mine since watching this video and decided to try and master it. Over the past couple of days, I've got much better at timing myself when to start and stop the loop and building layers on top of each other. Thankfully it is easy to delete or erase mistakes, but after about four hours of serious practice I'm getting the hang of it. Don't give up on learning it, as I think it is like anything else we might struggle with at first, like barre chords, getting Hammer On's and Pull Offs sounding right, or whatever your arch nemesis was in learning guitar, but now is easy or no longer a problem.

As I had been saying again and again, and yet again here I'm announcing that "THIS IS THE MOST STRUCTURED GUITAR CHANNEL." So grateful for all the contents you guys put out, so informative and easy to follow along. Saw a pop-out on website saying most of these vdos will be deleted. When is the deadline and which one of those are they?

Thank you we're glad that you enjoy them! Yes, at the moment all the videos are staying as we have just taken the tabs and write up out. These more casual videos will be staying permanently too. As for dates the videos are going there's no solid dates or plans for that yet so you've got time! :)

Should a beginner get a looper? I’ve gone through the 30 day beginner challenge, the powerchords and barre chords playlists and I’m now on the intermediate chords playlist and I’ve been thinking of getting a pedal and I saw a looper but I don’t really know if it would be useful when practicing or if it would just collect dust, or I could get a fuzz or reverb pedal to have fun sometimes or to play other songs and sound more like the song than without one.

A looper would be a great pedal to buy if you a beginner! As Dan mentions in the video, it will really help you practice your timing, as well as constructing chords together to add lead parts to! There are some great cheap looper pedals on the market that are great to start off with as well. There’s no need to spend a fortune if you’re new to the pedal world and want to experiment with different sounds! I would recommend looking at a brand call Mooer that make some great affordable pedals in a verity of effects!

Hi, I would say it depends how young or technically minded you are. If you're patient and good with tech then it's a good idea. If not you may find you spend a lot of time trying to figure out how it works when you could be practising.

Is it true a lot of the videos are going to be deleted??? 😱 I need to save some of these before its too late, can we know which ones?

No videos are being deleted as of yet we have just made changes to our website with access to the free tabs and write ups :) So no videos are being deleted in the immediate future :D
