I'm so grateful I found your page! I'm sometimes coloured as a warm or a cool tone, and a light or a medium skin tone depending on what the artist sees in the makeup stores 😅 now I know it's because olive hasn't been given enough attention. I'm definitely an olive neutral with a light to medium complexion.

The wet N wild brûlée eyeshadow is my daily routine eyeshadow. I use it to set my eye area for that bright finished look instead of contour and setting powders I use the brûlée

Thanks for sharing!! I've actually tried this. I think it's a tad too deep for my under eye setting powder personally, but it has a nice texture!

Love all this olive toned content and what you did to your hair. I kind of want to have some chunky streaks utilizing where most of my gray hair is. I have to uncover gray hair first. 😬

Omg loved this! I have olive skin and appreciate you making videos on it. I don’t know if you have already but an everyday makeup look video would be helpful! Also how do you get your hair like that?💜

Thank you for the suggestions! My hair mostly looks like this because of my cut and color haha, but I'm considering making a video on how I style it!

Great video danessa myricks balm contour in light 1 works great as a bronzer for me . I have yet to try this shade but I’ll give it a go . I think this color is also good for mixing as well . Nice for a makeup artist that follows true to color theory then use the beauty standards of “color theory “ which I find pretty in accurate .

I do enjoy this product for mixing! What do you mean, "beauty standards of 'color theory'?"

Could I mix it into a foundation to make the foundation more olive?
@Sophietheestheticianmua2 жыл бұрын
You could if your skin is the right depth! For me personally it would darken the foundation too much. I could get away with a drop if the foundation itself was too light to begin with.

Could you mix a tiny bit of this into a really light foundation to make it more olive toned? Could you also let me know what shades you wear in your top favourite foundations? Thank you!

Yes you can do this. Please check out my other videos for foundation recommendations!

I remember something similar to this but a lot lighter . The makeup geek contour in breakup which was for fair skin . It had a brown gray with a green undertone . It was pretty cool but green . I’m considering getting this but I’m also pretty light as well , my only thing I’m afraid of is bronzer and contours pull really warm on me , so I go for more cool browns and gray and sometimes even mix green into it .I may look into this because on your hands it looks neutral and green so it may work . Also I think I’m a neutral olive but things pull really warm on me . Lisa Eldridge talking about her foundation video talked about olive undertones a little bit which made me think I’m more of a neutral olive . Can you do a video on the difference between warm vs neutral vs cool olive ? I think I’m neutral to cool that’s very muted. You don’t have too but it’s good to see from a makeup artist perspective whose also olive . Anyway I’ll pick this up on my local Sephora today :D oh one more question ! So the fenty amber neutralizes a brown on me because of the purple and green on my skin mixing but on some olives it looks really purple , is it because they still have a lot of yellow to their skin ? I’m saying this because when I paint green and purple do neutralize at times to a brown color so I’m wondering if this is also applies to skin tone . Alright enough question . Take care !

I never tried that one but was always curious! I remember folks being disappointed that it wasn’t actually “cool” but olive is its own kind of cool lol

Olive skin isn’t only medium to dark. I wonder how this would work on lighter tones

@@franceskeller4536 I am pretty light lol. I’ve used it on even lighter skin and I mixed it.
