I had a game last week where we ended up 3-9 but no one in my team was blaming each other. When we started winning the rounds, we'd do some small compliments and hype up some clutches. That game ended up a W and the jett went from bottom frag 12 kills or so to heckin 39 kills in the end. I think just being positive is just really a good buff to the team.

I've said this for a long time, the way people comm is so important to the vibe on the team, and the vibe on the team directly affects how teammates will play. I'm a diamond Omen main and I was playing yesterday on ascent, had a duo on my team where the girl was the female equivalent of this Jett and her Sova was a yes man, the amount of times she called "Omen can you actually smoke" when she wasn't comming anything that would actually have me smoke what she was asking for, every time she screamed "SMOKE" down the mic I literally threw random ass smokes on A site, when had she just said "Omen can you smoke main if they're here, i'll comm it" she would have had perfect smokes in seconds every time, long story short; don't be a dickhead and then expect people to not treat you like one.

I'm a very casual player who basically doesn't play this game outside of with a few friends in unrated, and am not very interested in improving since this kind of super competitive coordination oriented shooter just ends up being exhausting at the end of the day if I'm taking it very seriously. However, you're just too entertaining to pass up and honestly may make me start trying to pay even just a little more attention in the unrated games I do play every now and then. That's more than anyone else has ever gotten out of me, so even if it's only a bit of a mindset change, thanks for all the knowledge you drop on us Hooj, you're the best!

Angel's ego isn't a bad thing and here's why: The guy is an Egoist which is actually a way to reach high in competition. Believing so much in yourself like this can achieve goals. BUT you have to control it, understand your disposition before you speak to anyone. Flame when the mic is off. Understand where you stand in the game (are YOU playing well?) before understanding your teammates. Sometimes when I'm on breach I'll make a perfect stun but my teammates won't shoot back. That means the chemistry isn't enough to win the round. At that point I devour the player I'm initiating for, which means using them for my own gain (e.g not committing if the guy doesn't play for refrag, now droning for me). You can say to YOURSELF the most degrading thing about your teammates BUT be a realist about it. You can even be nice while you do it, "Chamber I'm gonna stun for you 'here', its a free kill" or "Good pick chamber" while he's overcooking into enemy spawn. My understanding is there was potential chemistry between angel and his teammates. But even an EGOist would be in best interest to produce results, to keep getting OP buys. He actually has microphones in his lobby trying to work together. A true EGOist would feel in control of this situation (no remarks, no pinpointing etc) and be dropping 30 kills even if "Reyna can't do this" or "Omen can't flash that properly". If Angel focused on himself more, he would be carrying that lobby. It doesn't need anymore energy to understand you are the best, so why make a big deal out of it. SHOW YOU ARE THE BEST right in front of them.
@scherexyz Жыл бұрын
That’s not called ego that’s called being an insecure piece that only focuses on mistakes happening outside of their control cause improving yourself is harder and less convenient. That bluelock bullshit doesn’t apply to people who can’t hold a mouse, know nothing about the game and don’t have enough hours. It might matter for Demon1, but not for a low elo clown

I don't really get why Wohoojin is so contradicting. He promotes a totally non-toxic playstyle and literally timeouts people who ask not so clever questions or are slightly mad in chat. Yet he calls people who send in their VODs the most insane insults and makes himself look like he is unfailable god. He uses a bit toxicity himself but doesnt allow the slightest toxicity for others. That is stupid imo. Also I don't really think Wohoojin thinks about people having lifes and jobs to go for or studies or school or whatever. Nobody can play Valorant 4h a day or even more. Not with a common lifestyle. He should keep that in mind and not expect the impossible like dedicating one's life to a game when just seing one's rank from a VOD submitted. Also obviously some of his insults are being said with a ironic intention as you can clearly hear from tone. Yet other have to use clear indicators in their messages when being sarcastic. His approach is just too harsh and sometimes looks arrogant. Like obviously it's much harder to do the right thing in seconds during a game than chilling in a review.
