I’m actually removing the suppressor sights from my FNX45 as they cover more than half of the optic’s real estate. I learned that the rear sight holds in a spring, so instead of running the the gun without sights, I need to switch to the standard ones.

A lot of people don’t understand the concept of an electric optic potentially failing. Then you will be in a situation where you can’t even put rounds down range.

A $500 SRO on a $499 Glock…….Perfume on a pig, or in this case Trijicon on the Block. Far better served on USP’s, VP9L’s, Shadows, & every other comp race car gun on the market. Skeptical of any opinions coming from someone mounting high end, out of place looking equipment on a Glock

Literally the only good reason to run suppressor height sights is with a can and NO optic. There's no reason to cowitness on a pistol. Lower third on a rifle has much more utility.

Why would you want to cowitness your red dot? Doesn't make any sense to obscure your view through the optic. If you need a backup in case your optic fails, buy a more durable optic, and fit a light/laser device to the weapon

You've probably never shot a dot on a pistol. It takes a long time a lot of training to find the dot. Lots of muscle memory lots of practice presenting to get the dot. In a near peer situation you don't want a visible laser. Co-witness is a good way to get started until you get used to how to see a tiny dot on a tiny lens out at arms length. You can always take your sights off later once you get comfortable
