How can one go into heaven with just the Father and the Son? Covid-19 showed me the Holy Spirit is a real Person. We all need the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Thank God for this man’s obedience to the Call as he preached it as God told him to preach it. This was a refreshing time in our great country. I love my pastor .

One point of this teaching does pose a difficult question. How does one come to the conclusion Jesus can only be at one location at a time? His answer sorry is not sufficient to squelch that concern. You need the Holy Spirit because scripture tells us that He (The Holy Spirit) is the lens we study scripture from and pray. Sometimes we as humans like to over complicate the simple things.

@@dellarussell1872 sorry but that still doesn't square away with what the bible says about Jesus. There are no before birth and after ascension indication Jesus couldn't be everywhere either.

Jesus was a man, and as a man He was limited to one location at a time. As God of course He is omnipresent, but in His glorified state He dwells in heaven. As long as He was on Earth He was confined locationally. Pastor Jack's point is well taken. Jesus told His disciples that they would do the works that He would do, but He also told them to tarry until they were endued with power from on high because they would need that power to do the same works He did. That's why we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit rather than merely indwelt by the Spirit for regeneration, guidance, illumination ... etc.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is to let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly. It is understanding who Christ is and the significance of what He has done. To obsess on the Holy Spirit is often counter productive. Certainly to babble out sylabales and sounds unconsciously from the English language does nothing to advance the Spirits fullness...NOTHING! One could even say that todays pentecostal version of tongues is in itself a blasphemy against that great gift. In Matthew's gospel Jesus tells us that the greatest group of deceived believers are those who think the promised signs of Mark 16 were for them. They were not only wrong on signs and wonders but when you study their version of the gospel you find distinct differences in it as opposed to their evangelical non-charismatic counterparts; see Matt.7:21-23.
