You definitely should!! It’s super easy to mod. The 2000 is definitely my favorite. I wanna get the glacier white one at some point :) you can find em on eBay brand new in box for around $150. Not bad!! Considering the 3DS XL is going for $300 - $350 😅

@@flowfactoryinc07 Honestly, it’s a win win! I will say, the 1000 OLED looks great and definitely has a more premium feel. Feels great in the hands as well. The 2000 is a little more thin and lighter. They both run the same internal specs, the only difference is the screen. If I was getting a vita for the first time, I would go for the 1000 then get the 2000 at some point so you can experience it the way everyone did back in the day :) the 2000 is definitely still worth picking up as well. Idk how to explain it but, when you play both, your gonna love both lol

@@tylershepard315 Oh man, eBay is awesome!! What I do is type in PS VITA 1000 or 2000, whichever you prefer. It’ll show tons of listings, the first thing I look for is quality, which ones lol the most new and barely used. Then when I see one I like, I make sure the seller rating is 98% and above. That means they’re a trustee seller. Plus eBay has buyers protection with every purchase 😎👍🏼 I recommend buy a new one with the box from Japan sellers, the vitas are still poppin in Japan and they still have tons of new non used ones! Box and all!

It's a great device all round for emulation and most pc homebrew games, if you have a Rog alley then chances are you don't really need a deck tbh

@@yourneighbour3309 good question! They’re both great for modding, they have the same specs internally. As for best in general, it’s really tough to say cuz it’s all about personal preference. They’re both just as good. The vita 1000 is a little more heavy but has an OLED screen, which looks really good. The 2000 is lighter and has an LCD screen that looks really good too. Personally, I like the look and feel of the vita 2000 the best. It’s sleek and easy to pick up and play 😎 I will say tho, I still love them both the same lol if you want a premium feel and display, 1000. If you want a more lighter and sleek feel, go for the 2000. You can’t go wrong!!

Keep in mind, the different colors have different textures. The black and white ones have a more gloss finish, while the blue and red one have a matte finish, both textures feel great 👍🏼

I paid $200 for mine. Although it came new in the box, definitely worth it :) I recommend buying on eBay cuz in Japan they have toooons of brand new ones in back stock. The vita is still very popular in Japan. You can find them tho between $150-$200 :) I got my vita 1000 for $120 and the 2000 model for $200.

Emulating on the vita is so easy and it’s so compact, it’s easy to pick up and play. I love my handheld PC but, it’s so bulky and inconvenient lol as for the OLED, it’s older tech but mines still holding up surprisingly! And dang that’s awesome! That’s a mad steal for a 3DS XL. I still have to mod mine. As for eBay, that’s definitely the way to go for finding the exactly color you want. Plus you can still buy them new!! 👽👍🏼
