Note: #1: at 10:30 your ux0 may have more than 15 files to copy. That is OK. When I recorded this video I formatted my vita memory card so it could have less folders than yours. (You may have some dlc folders) #2: if you are using cheap knockoff sd card please don't come here say it doesn't work or it damaged my vita. #3. if you don't have a Vita Memory Card for PS vita 1000. here is a new method to jailbreak without a memory Card for PS Vita 1000: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHKYeH5rYpx6Zsk #4 upgrade to a larger SD card later on Use windows to format the new card as texfat. Then copy old card stuff to new card and made sure hidden files are shown and all files on old sd card are moved into your new sd card. Then just plug in the new SD card into VIta and you are good to go.

When selecting the SD2VITA and then selecting “Memory card” as the other category, isn’t that only for the PS vita 1000? If using the 2000 you select internal memory as the newer ps vita models had internal memory as opposed to 1000 which did not?

Just got myself a 2000 model. In very very good condition! Never had this Sony console so wanted one for years. Looked at other guides and non of them worked on mine. This is brilliant! followed all the steps and it worked! I did need to straight up delete some games to make the file transfer not take so long. I got an error code the first time and I think it happened because I let the screen get dim just once (not even turn off). The second time around I just made sure I was constantly moving the left analog to prevent the screen from dimming. Maybe overkill, but I didn't wanna risk it giving me an error code again. enjoy. no problem there is no limit but i suggest use 512gb at maximum otherwise the psvita system will slow down because you have too much stuff on it.

Hey man, all good with the modding. The only issue im having is that two times, i have experienced a corrupt file issue once when i was on pkgj and the other time when i was playing a game. I turned the console off and cleaned the s2d memory card as I've heard that can help i also put the console in safe mode and restarted it which both helped and fixed the issue but im worried that this will keep happening constantly as ive only modded it today and its already happened twice.

no problem. I think most of ppl will recommend PSP1000 because of the oled screen it does looks very in color compare to 2000 but I personally like Vita2000. its slimmer and feels more comfortable to hold on hand also, less weight.

You have to re-do the SD2Vita adapter setup process again with the bigger sd card then copy all your game files over the bigger card.

You will need the Memory card for PS vita 1000. Before your vita get jailbreak the sd card is not working. It only works after jailbreak.

Yes you can remove the sd2vita card and It doesn’t matter. if you have vita 1000 oled version make sure the vita memory card is inserted in this case.

np, you will need memory card for vita 1000. vita1000 doent have any storage inside the system so you cant store anything basically without memory card.

That's not entirely true. The 2 models actually have the same amount of storage. It's just not accessible on the 1000 without modding it. Just select replace NEAR with Vita Deploy option.

You don’t need to upgrade the memory. Just use a micro sd card with SD2vita adapter. I showed everything in the video. You can get up to 256gb memory with a micro sd card. You will store all your games onto micro sd card.

Hi I think your tutorial is the best but my PS Vita is not exactly the same because in ux0: there is a addcont/ folder which is above the app/ folder should I copy that folder as well or skip it? When Googled that folder is for DLC but do not know if need to copy it (I have many games on my PS Vita Memory Card but will add more storage with my SD2VITA Card and 256 GB micro SD card).

Thank you, Yes please copy that folder over. Because you are have some existing game & dlc on your vita memory card. When I recording this video I actually formatted my memory card that’s why it doesn’t have those folders you have.

I managed to transfer my PSP and PS1 games to SD2Vita but I noticed you boot up in a PSP environment is it then possible to map L2 L3 and R2 R3 as when it was booted in the PS Vita environment before (I remember I could even map the second stick in PS Vita environment even for PSP games).
