As an American child in the 1950's I lived in Japan for two years. My father was officer in USAF. We lived in a house that was probably 100 years old in mountains. Oh my gosh, what a Fabulous experience!!! The Country was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! All of my little friends were Japanese and I wore a kimono everyday. Tokyo was a wonderland!!! The Japanese were SO gracious!!! The kindest people!!! I still adhere to so many customs and have beautiful items from our time in Japan. Oh yes...do visit that Country. So very beautiful!!! Mnt Fugiama was our view every day!!! Dad always had us live as Japanese citizens. You will not be disappointed. Just AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. ALways be as gracious as they are and respect their philosophies and culture.❤❤❤

I am seeing people from America, Europe, Asia and all over the world which is quite amazing to me. I quess all Japanese wishes visitors here to have wonderful time and willing to do even small things for you guys whenever given the opportunites. Welcome to Japan and have a wonderful time.

I am Japanese. Ippudo is indeed famous, but only as a chain, not as the best tonkotsu ramen. There are many better tonkotsu ramen than Ippudo. Personally, the best in Tokyo is Ramen Kenta in Koenji. Please try it if you have the chance.

@JaychelAdventure I believe it. It's actually way out at the end of the subway line to get there, but an entire community has sprung up around it since it was built. It's simply called "Skytree Town." It's a popular date-spot among young people, apparently.

@JaychelAdventure Жыл бұрын
Here is a better explanation! We went early to the park and then got the timed entry tickets from the app as soon as they were available!
Do you have any recommendations for areas to fly drones? Last time I was there, the only place I felt that I was allowed to fly my drone was at Shirahama beach where there weren't many people around. I really want to capture some aerial shots in Japan but I definitely don't want to get into trouble with Japanese police 😵💫
@JaychelAdventure10 ай бұрын
We only flew it in Okinawa over the water and in the remote place in Nara. You’re not allowed to fly near crowded areas or sites, which makes it difficult since most of the places we were visiting were crowded cities and sites haha. You can read up more about Japan drone laws here: uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-japan/#:~:text=General%20Rules%20for%20Flying%20a%20Drone%20in%20Japan&text=Contact%20Japan's%20UA%20%2F%20Drone%20Counseling,of%20people%20or%20private%20property.
