This message gave me revelation that I need to forgive myself and the father of my child. I am a single mother, I will be 40 years old in a few months, and I did not have my child as planned. I was angry at her father and at myself at how I became a mother and the journey it has forced me to face. Through the challenges,I strive to continue to grow. Being a mother, has put in places, I would not have been, had it not been for this journey. I saw the angry I give my child's father, and myself, and I know I have to FORGIVE. thank you for keeping me encouraged & inspired Ms. Nichols!

Forgiveness is not easy. And it´s definitely a huge burden to carry on with whatever you do not forgive. Tough... I need to find the balance between "I forgive you" and "you don´t get to hurt me again, ever" . Thanks Lisa for bringing this topic to my attention.

"Who have you been holding hostage to something that they've done? How many hours have you lost? ... How many days? How many weeks? How many years?" This question woke me up! Years. I've been holding myself hostage for years. This stops TODAY! Now. My inner real estate is too important. I want to be filled with love and compassion and vision for what's possible. Thank you, Lisa! Hi Lisa. I have come to a point recently that there are some people in my life I dont need in my life. I had to work through loving them from a distance. I recent let go of a 15 year prison sentence. I finally gave it up to God. I realized now that I just want peace just like you said. I know that I can forgive and give the rest to God doesn't mean I accept their behavior but it cant ride on my journey. I am living my peace i am happy. Finding joy in my journey. I still have a way to go but peace is wonderful. Thank you for this. I didnt want to watch this because i am a grudge holder but i knew i needed to watch it. Thank you. Love you

DIVINE TIMING IS RIGHT. I felt this conversation at the end of Speak & Write in the beginning of the month and Im feeling it all over again. This was definitely heavy on my heart today. My BOL was thinking about the time and hours I lost while holding on to the anger of what is or isn't. I am giving myself permission to forgive my mother in law, because on the other end of that is a PEACE OF MIND! I want my legacy and the quality of my relationships to speak volumes and sometimes, just sometimes....although you might not agree, there is always room for compassion and perspective. I love you Lisa.

I open the space of forgiveness regarding a disagreement I had some time ago. It does Not matter Who was to blame. Maybe I, maybe her, maybe both. I learned that on my side there was Lack of Courage and self esteem that created suffering. I let go of blame, guilt and shame. And consciously decide right here and now to replace It with compassion, wisdom and empathy. I let go, I forgive and transform this situation within myself. Thank you Lisa Hearing your words and Feeling your Energy was most needed to allow some higher frequencies in. Peace, love and grace to you.

God, I love you Lisa!!! I wish to meet you one day. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible video, I feel alone often times and your videos make me feel like I have a personal friend talking to me everyday. I haven't spoken to my sister for 11 full months and theirs a lot of forgiveness that needs to take place. I'm 21 and when you said "when I was in my 20's, if someone burned me once, I'd draw that line". Unfortunately, that's exactly how I am. If someone hurts me once or twice, my relationship with that person, be it anyone will never be the same, and I'd draw that line and never trust them or really connect with them again. I truly struggle so much with forgiveness. However, It's by forgiving others through compassion, ultimately brings you peace at the end of the day. Thank you so much for this amazing video. It came at such a perfect time. Love you so much Lisa, you are truly my Sister, whom I have so much respect for ♥️❤️❣️💓💗💖🤗

God DOES know how to divinely orchestrate opportunities to get through to His people. I forgive him and wont spend time on the energy of the "for what." I must stay free, so all unforgiveness must flee from me, cuz I dont want no hinderences stopping me from pursuing my destiny and victory in Jesus' name, amen!!! Thanks so much Lisa for being led by the Holy Spirit of God on this very important discussion!!!☝👀☝👃☝👂🙏❤❤

"Dont focus on what they did cuz that'll grow the energy of they did" - such an important take away for me. I've found myself unable to move on in terms of a Fulfilling Relationship because I am extremely cautious of betrayal and looking for signs of "what's going to go wrong in this case." And because I am always looking for the wrong, i find the wrong! Is a vicious cycle that I've found myself unable to get out of. Unable to create that beautiful relationship that I could've and unable to really forgive. I find it that I need that lesson in "How to Forgive?" . Thank you Lisa for bringing this up at the right time. I needed to hear this. #BOL

Hi Lisa. this is my first comment I post for your video but I have seen almost all of them. I think it touched me deep somewhere in my soul to add this comment. Yes, this was very much a divinely timed message, Lisa! I was just lamenting about a heart-wrenching experience I had with a man a couple of years ago. Forgiving him for the emotional torment he brought to my world has been THE MOST CHALLENGING thing I've EVER experienced in my life!!! I glanced at my phone just to shift my thoughts so that I wouldn't start complaining and reminiscing about that horrible time in my life...and I saw your lovely face on the screen notifying me of this video. I truly "listened" to your message of forgiveness and it reminded me that forgiving him is for MY own sake, not for him. I'll probably never see him again, but I have to find a way to live with the memory of that experience and how it brought out the worst in me, yet it brought me to my knees and drew me closer to God and to gaining a better understanding of myself. Perhaps that was the whole point in God allowing me to go through that awful time. I keep saying to myself that I "forgive" him, but the residue of resentment still lingers in my heart and mind. I'm still in prayer asking God to help me find my way and serve a great purpose, but sometimes I still feel trapped in my mind because of my past experiences. Meanwhile, I appreciate you for doing your part to help people like me to find our way. I may never meet you, but know that you were one of the first people I started listening to when I began this journey to heal from the experience to which I made recerence (I don't call it a "relationship" because that word connects me to him too intimately). It helps me to know that I am not alone in terms of hearing that others have lived through and even thrived after experiencing connections that have made the bitter side of life a reality. But, it is also encouraging to know that some of those same people are now on the other side and are living the sweetest life they've ever known! You serve as a role model in that regard to me. Thank you for having the courage to share your story! 😊 #LemonsToLemonade

Thank you Lisa, I learned the lesson that forgiveness is about ME, not the other person. When I put myself in their shoes, I was able to have compassion and empathy to why they treated me the way they did, and forgive. Plus we're not perfect, and have no doubt offended others, so in order to be forgiven, we must forgive 💚

Hi Lisa - I love what you're saying and all that you are about in the world. Totally agree that forgiveness is an essential ingredient of relationships. Totally agree that forgiveness isn't what we think it is - we can forgive, but still set really clear boundaries. My favourite definition of forgiveness is..."the absolute refusal to hold ill will against someone for what they did or didn't do..." That puts the power totally in your hands... If anyone gets stuck with forgiveness, I heartily suggest they check out which of the five major obstacles to forgiveness might be getting in their way - as outlined in my book Forgiveness Made Easy - the revolutionary guide to moving beyond your past and truly letting go..... You CAN forgive if you want to - if you're willing, like you say, Lisa... you may just need a little help with the HOW... Love and blessings xxx

Advice to those who listen: - Before you talk about other people's perceived flaws, ask yourself this: "Do I have this flaw ?" - Before you ask someone why he/she did or didn't do something, ask yourself this: "What would I have done if I were in his/her shoes ?" - Before you give an advice, ask yourself this: "Do I practice it or not ?"

Well when you have borderline personality disorder it's not easy to forgive when forgiveness was always given in the past just for ass clowns to continue to try people over and over again. I'm not ready to forgive anymore. My anger is the only thing that's real cuz when I'm being kind and caring I'm taken advantage of. Some people need to just perish from the planet and don't deserve to be here. PERIOD.
