I wanna correct myself before causing any confusion. The Dark and Light update is NOT the update releasing today, it’s a separate update on the Ranger super class and Marks. Doesnt mean it will take super long for the Dark and Light update to arrive tho! Sorry for the misunderstanding 🙏

Since you are new i recommend reading up on trello on how encounter tiers work that's how i managed and i started playing on legendary mode

same I gave it a try but ended up wiping due to mistakes and lost hours of progress, it was fun though but definitely something I cant play all the time but its worth to give a try every few weeks or so

I have wiped 20+ times on this game lol. Though u dont lose everything, you can get soul points from getting different achievements which will make u stronger on your next progression, making it easier to get back everytime u get wiped. U can also farm soul points on different slots which are shared between slots. So, as a maxed soul tree player, I can farm dessert at lvl 1 xd, and it takes me around 15 min to get lvl 20 and 40 min to get max lvl on legendary mode.

Light and dark update is not the next update. Its a smaller update that releases the dagger neutral class and marks.

I used to play this sooo much back in july/august 2023. Minmaxed 4 different builds, got every single node in soul tree and soloed all bosses (necromancer xd). I guess I could come back to this game after all these months, it's just that I kinda lost interest in it since its been 6 months since I last played it.

It has a 3 life system and there is an item you can get ingame to restore lives unless you play on legendary mode

Sometimes the game owner does a event where all people who lost their lives get everything back, also i too dont like perma death games at all but after playing this game it's very much different from other perma death game's

I got the hang of this game like within 2 days and did die a couple of times(its normal and you will die) but then it became progressively easier.
