Vetex is a better idea man than a developer. As a fellow Lua/Luau programmer, I can say for sure that the lag in the game is easily avoidable, and that the ways Vetex caches data and manipulates physics bodies is downright awful. He also very clearly does not care to balance the game himself, and instead gives it up to a team of people who (quite frankly) seem to only know how to give too much or too little to everything. There are other things, but in general his solutions to problems suck. However, his ideas are good. I wouldn't personally say a primarily sea-based game is what I was looking forward to when I was in WoM, but it has a promising start. Unfortunately, it will not be moving quickly.
