Robert I am all about lazy cooking that is for sure. I am just not use to the sauce and pasta being pre mixed together my Mom use to do that I add each one individual but this was still super tasty and I am all about pretty much 1 pan cooking!

Spaghetti is my favorite food and yours looks great. I have canned meatballs in my canning room. I'll have to make mine in the instant pot but I'm always game for spaghetti.

Sounds like my daughter Monna she loves sketti! I have the frozen and then freeze dried meatballs. I would have to see if I would re like the sketti in the IP I just wonder if you did like the pot in pot type thing for the sauce then the pasta so I can not have to mix together

@@nessasnook I put all of it in the instant pot at the same time. Pasta, noodles and meat. I comes out fast and wonderful. Just make sure to cover your noodles with liquid or they stay hard. I do cook my hamburger and freeze and can some. The only one I put in the instant pot is the frozen hamburger. I would have to fry the hamburger again if I used canned because of the texture. It doesn't have that hamburger feel if you don't. Instant pot "sketti" is amazing friend. You should try it one day.

I have some canned burger I am NOT a fan of the texture or smell! But I do love pre freezing my burger and it helps a lot I will have sometime re try in the IP to see if I like it that way thanks Monna

@@nessasnook try taking your canned stuff and get it a little browned in a skillet. The texture is much better that way.

Good afternoon Nessa! That looks awesome! I was wondering how the pasta would cook in the combi. I know when i cook pasta in the oven it over cooks and there is hardly any sauce left. This looked perfect. The pasta looks like it cooked perfectly and just the right amount of sauce. I really like how you make the garlic bread, i will have to give it a try and i, too, do not mind eating leftover garlic bread. Thanks for showing this recipe, have a lovely evening.

I am not one much for mixing the sauce and pasta together Angela I know my Mom did that growing up but I am not a super fan of it. I think you could cook the sauce above and pasta below. We did add a lil bit of water and I did stir 2x while cooking that seemed to really help not stick together

I wish I had the love of Sketti that my daughter does. We use to seem to eat it at least 1x a week when she lived at home its one of her fav's I think I might of Sketti my self out during that time.

I have made spaghetti in my instant pot but I dont like the way it comes out. It sticks together in the IP. I didn’t know you could buy pasta that came in half size. This looks like it’s gonna work a lot better than the IP for this meal. It looks really good, not stuck! ❤

I wonder if the noodles sticking is the pasta not being stirred? This is angel hair pasta from Walmart brand. Its the same price as the full piece but I dont have to make a mess breaking them :)

@@nessasnook I think that is likely the problem but when you put it all in the IP and lock the lid I guess it is what it is.

Arleen I have my own Harvest right Large size Freeze dryer. That is why you will see things in glass VS the pantry or #10 cans you see in other companies. Do you like the idea of freeze dried foods?

Dehydrated foods is the gateway to other way of preserving for sure! I use to do all sorts of dehydrated foods and when I got into Freeze drying I found I like some things better freeze dried VS dehydrated that is for sure
