MotoIQ tip... put some teflon tape around the polybushing spots on the bar, then lube it. Never squeaks.

Preload is set with car sitting on the ground not on the lift , what difference driver weight makes on suspension if car is on lift and wheels are just hanging???

There is something to be said about having the driver's weight in the driver's seat while doing suspension setup, i.e. alignment and cornerweighting, however for just the sway bar it's hard to say how much of a difference it really makes. Auto X guys do that all the time.

It was! We lowered the car down on casters and Matt laid underneath the car. It was hard to tell in the video but that’s how we did it 👍

It was, we had it on casters to get it a little higher and Ryan was in the drivers seat.

I’m leaning towards Xidas or Ohlins with Goodwin Racing extended top hats. This car will be used for chase shots on the street so I want something that’ll soak up the bumps and not send our camera guy into the atmosphere ☄️

whats your opinion on a open air filter for the 1.8 engine? I have a stock NB miata and bought a BMC DIA filter because I saw it on the Maruha website that they use it. But I'm a bit sceptical now if maybe this just makes my car breathe worse. I will do a ECU tune this summer hopefully that will make a positive difference

The problem is that the air filter is on the hot side of the engine so it’ll probably bring in warmer air. BUT, it will sound better!

So you're on OEM Bilsteins right ? Cause I'll have to replace my endlinks anyway for inspection, might as well do the rollbars if that works well with the OEM setup. Thinking about replacing the rear as well for another stock one since mines are pretty rusted.

Yep I’m on oem Bilsteins currently. It works well with these sway bars but the ride height is horrendous in my opinion.
