@@Prince_Spoopy Sadly thats not how Sheer Force works. It doesn't count stat drops from skills and thus those won't get Sheer Force boosted. EX: Darmanitan uses Flair Blitz? Flair Blitz will deal 30% extra damage but it will never burn. Darmanitan uses Hammer Arm? Hammer Arm will deal its normal interaction damage and will lower Darms Speed by 1

Thats why he is the one nerfed Rapid Strike just happened to adapt better to this gen's metagame, and even then you will see single strike

i wanna test out a set using Bolt next to a redirector, and then Dragon Cheer on him with Draco Meteor and Razor Claw/Scope. The theory is that every single attack will now Crit 100% of the time bc of the cheer, so i can spam Draco and not worry bout the stat drop, and then kill with Crit Thunderbolt and Thunderlap. i made an EV spread too, which allows me to outspeed Max Speed non boosted Dragapult in Tailwind. idk how good it will be ofc cuz i havent done the testing yet since ive been busy with the holidays, but i want it to succeed.

tbh i really like raging bolt but i prefer using gouging fire just for burning bulwark and the good ol burn immunity it clears many pokemon (fairy and fire specifically with earthquake and neutral damage to fairies to clear em up) and in the sun it has flare blitz to kill even more so my ace (serperior with countrary) cleans up the rest with stellar tera blast and gastro acid skeli to negate unaware not saying it's bad at all but they just made gouging fire such a good type combo and so many other good options and if a pokemon isn't using a damaging move thundercalp is kinda useless (unless you knew that the opposing pokemon was gonna use sword dance 3 times instead of killing you and thus clicked it) and you're not gonna out speed anything that can insta kill you (or put you to sleep since darkrai is a thing) and playing around crits (and status effects) is always a bad idea so competetively gouging fire is probably gonna end up being used far more just due to better speed (which can out run darkrai when given choice scarf) than raging bolt and electric dragon has more weaknesses than gouging fire though it can be played around by tera fairy/water/grass gouging fire plays with tera far better (eg : tera fairy as it literally covers all its weaknesses) though i maybe wrong i think it's the worst of the past paradox trio since walking wake and gouging fire benefit from the sun far (speed with walking wake and attack with gouging fire and you can run choice specs/scarf to kill threats) more than raging bolt and raging bolt is only a potential heavy hitting wall with tera which is also good so probably it's gonna end up as a late game sweeper in some teams basically it's the middle child of the past paradox trio this was just an opinion

How does stellar Tera's interaction with Tera blast effect the contrary ability? Does it pop as normal and increase the atk and spack by 1 stage? Do you get to keep clicking it as super effective? I have no idea and just thought about it as I was whatching this

It raises both your attack and special attack by 1 stage after each use instead of drop. Stellar T-blast is only super effective into mons that have also tera'd, it's neutral otherwise (but always gives the drops)

Since you can't breed these to force lower IVs (or rather I assume you can't since it is a legendary, idk if the paradox stuff makes it breedable though) do they come with their IVs already at the minimum 20 IVs? If not, how do you lower them?

You want 20 because the lowest you can get is 20 attack. This minimizes damage from hitting yourself in confusion, and foul play. Ideally you'd want 0 attack IV on a special attacker.

I love raging bolt so much, but I need to talk about the funniest interaction I had on showdown earlier. Long story short the team I’m running has a max Hp/max SpD Careful Incineroar. It took a max special attack, choice specs, special attack booster Draco Meteor from the opposing raging bolt and survived on 2%. My opponent got so heated they rage quit. (They yelled at me about the build before leaving) As of note, this set only has a 68.8% chance to oh-ko that specific Incineroar set lol

From what I've seen, Raging Bolt isn't actually that good of a counter. Urshifu-Tornadus teams have started running Landorus-Incarnate, and NeilVGC has been able to position around it w/ Incineroar, Rillaboom, and Flutter Mane. I'm still of the opinion that Raging Bolt will not actually meaningfully counter Tornadus + Urshifu. It'll just force them to play better. So far that seems to be panning out.

Even so, if it's possible to obtain that way even if it's unlikely why spend all the time reseting for it. All that does is mean people with more money just pay for other people to do the time for them. Genning evens the playing field
