Last night while negotiating property returns with my very recent ex (who I now understand is a covert narc sociopath) he started with gaslighting me again when I texted him about ghosting me. I call him out on lie, he denies it, he says I'm being mean and gives more excuses that I know are lies. When I continue to call him out on the lies which are so insanely transparent he continues to deny and lie about it some more. You will NEVER get them to admit it even when the chess game is ended, the proof is in your hand, it doesn't matter, they will still act like a child yelling that you are lying and being mean to them. They will never give you the satisfaction. One of my ex's favorite when he won't admit, is "Why what's it matter". I like to answer that clearly their lying and their integrity doesn't matter to them. In other words, I see who you are. When I ask, where's your excuse and explanation now because I've called out all the ones before that for being baloney, his response is "I'm done giving you explanations." In other words, I'm out of excuses and clearly have nowhere to run, but it will be a cold day in hell before I admit that. He insisted he's not texting me from his tablet and his phone is lost, so he couldn't text me earlier to say he would be a no show to our appointment. Then after being that no show he texts me 8 hours later acting like we never had an appointment, even though he texted saying "On the way" right before it. It's all to frustrate you. Nothing more. When I call him out that I recognize the phone number as being from his tablet he just continues to say it's not and that his tablet is elsewhere and he had no way of getting a hold of me. But he has no explanation for where his texts are coming from in that moment. Again, it's the kid with their hand in the cookie jar telling you they're not taking a cookie as you stand there watching them. 🙃 They have two goals here - one is to make you crazy with anger, frustration, and powerlessness - and two is to deny all accountability. And they don't care that you know it's a lie. Character or lack of is not a concern for them, once they understand that YOU KNOW who they actually are. Life and relationships are all just a game for them, at least for the narc sociopath who may want a good image, but doesn't really care that much the way a grandiose narc would. Their contempt for society overrides their desire to look good.

My grandfather didn't contact my mom (her dad) or me from her marrige till I graduated from highschool. I saw him twice after that. Then when he was elderly he tried to frame her for elder abuse. We had not seen him for 40 years. He could charm you and then stab you in the back and then blame you. He is not here any more thank goodness.

This confirms what I really already knew. No contact for almost 15 yrs now. After a 25 yr marriage ended in divorce. He already had new supply and I found firm evidence of that at the time. He didn't need to waste his time on me anymore when his 'needs' were being fulfilled by someone else. Also the financial agreement from the divorce after a long term marriage knocked the wind out of his sails.I think at the time he had no idea what his obligation was going to be to me, even after we were no longer married. I think he laid low after that and got his fix' from his new supply. Makes sense now.

My wife (21 years together) left me and kids before christmas. after I was in the hospital half dozen times up to 1 month stay the last couple years, for months she was coming home late everynight and when i confronted her she kept saying she was working meanwhile she was drinking and stuff with friends. she’s making very good money with work and she yelled at me in the spring calling me a narcissist in front of my kids. I questioned myself and started watching tons of videos. learned the mirroring she did to me years ago and now doing with friends, how she’s vain and got gigantic implants couple months ago, new car, 4 trips all while i’m watching kids... now i can’t speak to her at all, while i find out from friends she’s on dating websites…I’m sooo confused, hurt and crying each day. I still love her and would take care of her forever… She again yelled in front of kids i’m going to be alone forever…Honestly who’s the narcissist here??? please pray for us…bless you all!

I don't get any hoovering attempts because I made sure they (her and her evil parents) know in their empty core that I'm a big risk. She tried to k!ll me, her parents knew about it and now her father's career in academia is on the line. Her father still working as the head of the university, only because I let him. Are there possibly two more reasons to add to your list? I work in the Divorce/Family law industry and have worked thousands of these type cases. I offer rule #1) The NO contact must be strictly observed. The complexities, energy and legal costs can not be over estimated. If a person ( man or woman) must contact it should be in writing only with the approval and and advice of legal counsel. No texts, phone calls or any social media contacts including using third parties. Stop all related social media contacts. Rule #2) Protect yourself at ALL times from false allegations of "Me Too". I know of no reason why anyone should start talking without competent and experienced legal advice. Just say NO! It does not matter what your personality profile is. Stay out of it. It always takes TWO people in any relationship and each has their own biases, objectives and non objective perspective of the other person.
