I on other hand had issues with sleep. As long as 1 variable is off, for all we know, you might actually have pretty decent genetics but be under the impression that they are crap. So before quitting, depressing or thinking about TRT-bs, make sure every variable is on the right track
@SeuOu22 күн бұрын
@@user-ii7xc1ry3x Great advice for people who feel like they can't put on any muscle. All it takes is one foundational element being sufficiently off to kill your gains. Buy a food scale, make SURE every box on training list is checked off, and keep at it for AT LEAST 3-4 months without falling off the rails. If you still aren't seeing the scale go up, THEN you can legitimately consider whether you just don't have the genetics to make training worthwhile.

I’m a hard gainer. I cannot train twice a week, even with lower volumes. I cannot recover. But when I have my training right, HIT 2 on 1 off 5 workouts so training every 8 days, I just grow. Here’s my point. If you’re getting injured, you could very well just be undereating. I start getting all these stupid nagging things when I don’t eat enough. Just food for thought.

@@lexionis3901 What I’m saying is this. If I’m eating in a surplus, holding a bit of fat and water, I’m bulletproof. It’s always when I’m in a deficit, dry, etc that I get some stupid little injury. Nothing serious but something I have to work around. It’s annoying, but ultimately my fault. I’m just training too hard for my age I think at this point.

From watching these videos a beginner will think that going to the gym isn't even worth it if you don't go all in. Of course 2-6 sessions a week is optimal, but for many that is understandably not worth it. One full body session a week can cause huge results in a beginner and can still get you pretty far. That should be worth it for everyone, even if muscle building isn't your main focus in life.

I have been lifting 2.5 years. I was hoping to be a little bigger by now. I do struggle with deep sleep. However, I try to make sure I eat a lot and I train enough volume, and I also train pretty freaking hard. So I know I at least have the genetics to push hard, that I've heard Dr. Mike speak of. Anyways, I am going to give it at least 5 years (2.5 more) total of doing this before I "give up" on my genetics and realize this is as far as I can go. At that point, I'll just maintain, I guess. Good luck to everybody else as well.

Alex Leonidas talks about this very often, his physic looks insane. It just takes patience and time, the reward from training for strength is long lasting gains compared to gains acquired by training focused more on hypertrophy. Yes it does feel like the gains are far-fetched that's where patience, hard work and lifting heavy comes in.
