Agree, my 9 year old son has been following ftc program for 9 months now. He has now been drafted in the gymnastics, tennis, cricket, and athletics (high jump) team. One year ago he was regarded as a "developement" player. Thanks coach!

Your son will become an amazing athlete if you keep going with ftc!

@@jsherrier1196 Hi. Yes, I program myself, but I keep it very simple. Speed training 1-2x per week, working on 30's, 40's and 10m flies mostly (very occasionally 60m, 80m and 100m on my kids' insistence), plyo as well. All timed and recorded. I regard his gymnastics training as x-factor work. He is not a"naturally gifted" sprinter, but his 10m fly time improved from 1.91s in June this year to 1,59 s 2 weeks ago. He is faster and stronger, and most importantly, he is energised and fresh to practice sport-specific skills required for optimal performance (tennis and cricket are highly skilled sports, you need to be fresh). I am sold, sprinting (FTC) is the best physical development tool for kids, and the best of all, they love it as well.

@jsherrier1196 Just an interesting side note: my 6-year-old daughter is a more natural athlete. But she is struggling with in-toeing (pigeon toe), to such an extent that she would trip when she is running. She also trains (FTC) with us; you cannot keep her out of a training session. Earlier this year, I noticed her feet would land straight when she was doing wicket runs correctly. So I also got her on the FTC program in March this year (with other exercises to strengthen external hip rotators, etc.). Her in-toeing is about 80% improved, she is not tripping anymore, and she broke the school's 60m record in the 7-year-old age group. I would recommend this program to all parents, within the kid's ability range of course.

Totally right Coach! Too many coaches of other sports think they make athletes but they really get ready made athletes for guys like us.

Today I had a coach ask me if the FTC stuff was designed by Christian McCaffrey. I said no, his name is Tony Holler.
