It's hard to not care about this game. It's so incredibly polished, fun, and filled with an unreal amount of intentional and purposeful content. Supergiant already had a great track record but outdid themselves on this one! It's so good to see a studio that prioritizes their staff, and it's great too that it sets an example for all other companies, proving that a happy work environment can make a world of difference when it comes to the final product. What's your favorite weapon in Hades? I can't get enough of the bow because of how quick and safe I can be with it, but the gauntlets are a close second.

@@haartrich Varatha, all the way. If there are spears, or two-handed axes in a fantasy setting, I'm picking that for my fighter. Maybe it's just because it's my favorite, but it kinda feels like the "canon" weapon, despite Zagreus being shown with the Styngian Blade in all the promotional material. With both Hades AND Achilles (and his hubby!) having spears as their weapons of choice, it feels thematic. Alright, so my weapons from favorite to least: 1. Varatha 2. Malphon 3. Stygius 4. Coronacht 5. Aegis 6. Exagryph

Ah, you have great taste! Honestly I'm annoyed at myself for not liking the sword and spear more. I can manage on them but my play style just favors coronacht and malphon, but thematically I really wanted to enjoy different weapons. I usually opt in for melee focused combat on anything I play and I really enjoy having some mobility too, but for some reason coronacht just feels right for me. It's kinda weird how that worked out. I'd have to say that the aegis is by far my least favorite. I know it's safe and you can get some damage going with the right boons and aspects, but I just feel like I could always be doing more damage with a different weapon and I'd enjoy my time more. Man! Now that I'm talking about this game again I really wanna play it!

@@haartrich lol do it! When I use Coronaught, I love getting within shotgun range, and using the special. Especially on Lernie. Always imagine Artemis with her hands on her hips like, "you're not supposed to use it like that!" 😂

Same actually! I really enjoy the aspect of Hera for the burst damage when you get a really good cast boon, and the aspect of Rama so you can burst down a ton of enemies at once. I always end up doing the shotgun blast as well. I really hope Artemis isn't too disappointed in me! I really need her crits!
