Thanks for the great video,man. Thats exactly what i was thinking. Sometimes its not even about laziness, you just busy, think about lots of stuff, hurry and worry in your everyday life. There were times that I noticed that i forgot to tighten the micrometric when I was already on a highway

I agree, bro. Life happens. Best we can do is be mindful when we can or eliminate the chances of life coming in the way of safety. Glad you liked the video, thanks a lot.

Love this video, love for the help. I'm on to buying mt thunder 3 but hesitating so much due to d ring. I'm an office goer and I need to hurry, in that case how do i deal with d ring still i dont know coz it takes time

thanks for the vid, i do appreciate what you are saying, but i would argue that if the ratchet gets 'looser' just push it in another notch or two till it's snug under the chin, and you could just as easily say that you may not tighten the dd ring properly either, or may do many more things that hinder safety like not bothering to check tyre pressures or chain tension often enough. I'm a ratchet guy, and if i dont make sure it's adjusted properly it's down to me not taking the proper care lol. GL and safe riding !!

I appreciate your perspective, and I also agree with it, but sometimes, you don't remember such things. haha

@@thebloobiker true. after a stop i've set off many times and forgotton to clip in the strap, it's a good job the wind clatters it against the helmet to remind me. GL

Hey Man, good that I came across your channel. Keep up the quality content. I was researching and reading about Double D Rings vs Micro Metric Straps. I am currently working towards upgrading my current helmet. Currently in India ECE 22.06 certified - there are two helmets I short listed (MT thunder 4 sv and LS2 FF800 STORM II) but both of them don't have a double d ring, would you recommend going for a ECE 22.05 helmet with double D ring or a ECE 22.06 helmet with Micro Metric straps?
@thebloobiker9 ай бұрын
22.06 anyday, bro. As long as you remember to tighten the Double D rings lol. Late response from my end, what did you decide eventually?

so much info in the vid that i wouldnt pick up on my own, i thought micrometrics are unsafe. there is only one helmet that is ece 22.06 certified (potentially) and has d rings in budget segment .. tiivra. but the colour scheme is edgy and i want it to complement my bike. then there is mt thunder but it has rachet. i'm not lazy so, i'll be buying the mt. thanks for the video, you rock!
