i just ordered this buckle, it fits perfect on my troy lee designs helmet. and just as the comments suggest, there is plenty of room to install this quick release buckle. thank you for an extremely durable design, and quick and easy installation. this is the strongest buckle i have seen. i will be converting all of my helmets to this quick release model. a great product. i can see why the amazon store says these are selling over 1,000 units each month.

This is a great product! Solid construction, and high-quantity materials. Unlike some reviews here, I have a good, snug fit... but I've tightened my strap down as far as it will go to get that, and I can see how someone smaller might not get that snug fit. My only concern here is that we were instructed to pop off that little snap at the end of the strap. I hesitated, because I'm not keen on the idea of altering my strap in any way for fear of compromising its safety, even to the smallest degree. However, I found I was able to install this product perfectly without having to remove that little snap, so I'm happy. Try that first before you follow the instruction to remove it!

Good day at the Helmet Shop, Just arrived yesterday the helmet clip helmet quick release in stainless steel. Took me around 8 minutes to watch your instructive video and with a few adjustments till I got it right and snuggled. Thank you this has changed the annoying factory strap. Love your Metal to Metal Helmet clip. Now I can ride like a pro. By the way expedited shipping down here to the islands.

Adds way too much length and cannot get the strap tight.. even with it fastened as far down as possible it's still way too loose. Great idea but doesn't work for my head or helmet not sure which is causing the issue

Picked up my clip at HD dealership today, only had to pause twice and it’s installed. Easy to do, great how to video.

I love it so much. Awesome product. I didn't need to remove the snap on 2 helmets of mine. I just left the snap alone as it was not in the way when in use. I use the Shoei rf-1400 and the Vata7 Helmet. Both installations were smooth and took about 15 minutes total for both. Highly Recommended

Thanks for the video. I just ordered one, and it works great. I'll be putting these on all my helmets. I do believe they changed up the buckle where you don't have to pop the button off the helmet strap.

Yes, there has been a change so you do not have to remove the snap from your chinstrap as in this video.

Well, I just ruined a brand new helmet strap because the quick release added so much length that it makes my straps too long even with the straps cinched all the way up. And my snap that held my excess strap in place is no longer there. Any solution to that issue?

Same here. I tightened the quick release strap all the way down and it was still nowhere close to being tight. it adds so much extra length idk how anyone is able to make theirs tight!

There is barely, barely, enough space on the helmet end of the strap to install this and as the helmet breaks in, it very well may not be usable because there is no space left to tighten the strap, on a HD H31.

If you have a full face helmet, this product is completely worthless. Way too much strap length added to tighten your helmet.

The snap on my Shoei will not go through your buckle and it is not removable without destroying it.

If you want your helmet to stay on your head, don’t buy this, not enough room on helmets to tighten it down

I have a sedici. I just had to push the protective pad back on the existing strap side where the helmet strap buckle goes. I actually got mine to be too tight and had to adjust again.

This video doesn't explain what a pain in the ass it is to install because they have done it countless times ! The snap you remove is a fight to get off I cut mine with side snip wire cutters ,then the rubber has slots that are not cut open to feed the strap through so be careful there , then trying to feed strap through it is another big ass pain!! Once it's on it works good and the piece that snaps around D rings isn't long enough to wrap like they show in video . It works but install is a pain !!
