It's not that I'm looking for a shortcut in life, simply would be fun getting a camera, making money off by using it and saving up for bigger stuff. if you decide to respond, thanks in advance.

Почему не 100-400GM? У неё коэффициент увеличения x0,35 и 1400 г, и светосила выше и качество картинки на порядок выше! В то время как 200-600G увеличивает в x0,2 раза при массе в 2200 г и большими размерами (bigger).

You're genuinely getting better with your videography skills (and more patient - 2 years ago you wouldn't wait half hour for no heron to blink its transparent wildlife eyelids). The top gun insect moment was an excellent observation - you could offer your footage to citizen science projects or stock footage library of Canadian wildlife. Well done. Cool new soundtrack btw!

I don't know much about cameras and how they function, but I like his guy's storytelling in a soothing voice and think it's cool. I can imagine a lot of time and preparation went into it. Once as a young man in the 1980s, I used to love watching birds even though I'm hardcore when it comes to physical sports. Some of my friends couldn't figure that out. I guess it was part of the natural nature in me wanting to connect to life ecosystems. I'm thankful I get to see a lot of wildlife videos on KZbin. Thanks.

Sony is just clinically perfect. They have all the right cards. Their laser focus on Mirrorless from the very beginning is paying off. Full Frame/Excellent AF/High DR/Great Low Light/Light and compact bodies true to Mirrorless/Great Battery life/huge lens lineup with tons of affordable options. They charge the premium, they can afford to.

Ask Camera Canada for a CFexpress 80 or 160gb and put your 4k 120p & 1080 240p on the highest bitrate. I think its much better, expensive as shit for the cards but the 80gb was on special a while back so I picked one up. A7siii is much better at low light / night over the A1 for video but in daylight the A1 is sick with the ability to crop in on the sensor + clearview zoom. If you film in 8k and resize in post its sposed to be comparable in low light but thats just too much effort and time. I thought you had the 600 prime in the background when the video started :D - ask CC if they have a spare one floating around for review ??

If you check Sean Tucker's channel, he is an amazing portrait photographer, which used Canon and then Sony. It can be done if you pour hours fine tuning your RAW picture and you have the Photoshop skill to make it look good. Sony had the latitude and bit depth to allow anything, but the OoC results are awful. You have to set in stone your limit of abuse taking from your gear and live with that

Great video Kasey and nice sequence of fish and night heron..! You most likely already know this but one of the things that more advanced cinema cams (like Canon's R5c & C70) have is a "pre-rec" or "cache record" function whereby the 3 or more secs before you hit the rec button are also recorded to your clip.. means you don't miss any action from delay in hitting rec.. a super useful feature for filming wildlife.. though you will most likely need a tripod to film from as hand holding is an issue with that size/weight of camera. all the best to you..g

Dear CC, please help. I want to shoot 30min+ walking videos where I’m behind camera with infinity focus on the scenery. Stab is most important, IQ second, small size third. I have an iphone6s, A7iii, and fuji xpro1. If I use the Sony, I’d have to buy a gimbal and samyang 18 2.8. I want 100 degree field of view. Other options where I live: gopro10 $750, insta360 1inch - $320, action 2 - $440. I could get an iPhone 11 for the same price as the gopro but I would still need a gimbal, I think. Is the action cam form factor worth it over carrying a mirrorless and gimbal? Is something small like em1 iii + Leica 9mm a good compromise? Thank you!

A7IV feels like the best hybrid but not having 120p 4k is hard to accept at this time. A7SIII is too low MP for stills. And IBIS isn't the best on Sony when compared to Panasonic. I also saw a video with Canon IBIS and it looked sh*t. And Canon doesn't even have anything other than R5 that is a good hybrid and that has that ridiculous 30 min limit. It's like they unite to make you unable to purchase anything at all.

I mean your configuration looks incredible, but way too expensive unfortunately :( for my budget even through it's not the best gear, my canon 90d and my sigma 150-600mm C give me the opportunity to make wonderful photos ❤️ but for video this an another story 😭🙏

That's great to hear. I have one question for you. I've heard that Sigma has trouble with back focusing, at least on a canon body, adapted with the EF mount. Have you found this to be the case at all?

@@Sydney_Jones well my canon 90 is a EF mount xD so I have absolutely no problem with this lens, after obviously this is not canon AF system so don't expect to be as good, but for this price I'm very happy how it's turn out! Btw the back focussing problem came from hybrid camera, for some reason they have trouble detecting subject near you. Oh and one last thing, if you adapte this lens on the RF mount, with the new technology like eye bird detection AF there is a strong focus breathing that happens for some reason and make half of your pictures soft 😭

@@albas4923 Okay, thank you for letting me know! I'm a little disappointed to hear that, but I'll just have to make due with the RF 100-400mm. Thanks again :)

Kayse that was really great! I felt like I was watching the Wild Kingdom on some science channel. However, I'm still thinking that your new system still needs to be stabilized on a tripod or whatever you can provide, other than hand holding, that can give you the cinematic Animal Channelesque smooth shots that WOW the viewers. Not to mention that depth of field will be another challenge along the way. I love your narration, your vocal sound effects, and your camera talk all going on in the background as your sound track. You Rock!!
