I use a cheapo exacto knife to cut mine. Cutting stickers stretches out the sticker books for sure. Thanks for sharing!

Clean scissors are so important! Great tip! I have a pair of Rifle Paper scissors I got from Target and they are seriously sharp, heavy scissors. I’ve been using them for almost a year now, and haven’t had to clean them yet, but I’m close. However, I do remove all sticker pieces immediately (I’m a little compulsive about that) which I think helps.

Great video! I have a pair of fiskar non stick scissors that work really well. You can find them at Joann’s, Michaels, etc.

You can also use rubbing alcohol to get the adhesive residue off of your scissors or other surfaces.

After the goo gone cut a piece of tin foil. Just a lot of snips. This sharpens the blades. Also - punch a piece of foil in your hole/disc punch to help it be sharper and crisper.

Great ideas for sticker use...they are so expensive to buy so it's nice to get double use out of the florals!

Hi I'm new here. Do you do spreads each week in your personal planner and do you use them? I have seen other people use it as "crafting projects". I haven't done that but I do use my planner for bills, apps,etc. Thanks

What are some of your tips when it comes to fomo and buying sticker books? I know I have more than enough and even similar items but when new books or releases happen I still end up buying more 😔
@coz78912 жыл бұрын
Buy all the books you want. You only live once & they bring you joy. You can always destash by reselling them. That's what women who are into other hobbies, like buying handbags do. (Now, that's an even more expensive hobby & yet people indulge, so why not treat yourself to sticker books)

I use to be that way when I first started! I bought everything and anything..even the stuff I didn’t like and sometimes would get duplicates or triples. I was out of control!😅 but it started to become too much to deal with…i had way too many books and a lot of them I would only use once so now I really only buy a book if it’s something that I see myself actually using multiple times. I know what I like now and I try my best to stick to that. Also, now that I have a cricut and can make my own stickers I don’t really have that fomo anymore because I can make my own versions of the stickers they are coming out with..and it’s a lot cheaper than a $23 sticker book that almost half of I don’t even like 😅

I also use Orange Essential Oils to get the sticker "gunk" off my scissors. I really like using smaller "school" scissors for cutting stickers

STICKER HACK: Girl I can help you out with those stickers that are given once . I went digital years ago however I'm graphic savy. My suggestion is to scan the sticker & once you have it PNG you can create so many stickers with the same pattern to make any spread. I"m a scrap booker. I can make anything with PPT, GIMP, Photoshop ETC. You can either glue or make a sticker with Xyron or heck I even did masking tape back in the day. I use to make my own planner in the 90's b/c there was NO happy panner in those days. So folk like me know some serious hacks. Just make one by printing.
