I've got a number of DAPs - from the really cheap to a few hundred pounds. I managed to pick up the Surfans F28 recently for a steal and I'm really impressed. The biggest selling point is that the gapless playback actually works (a rarity in budget DAPs). Highly recommended.

I have the Phinistec version of this model, the S7. Same exact praises and complaints as you. I bought my model second-hand, so I thought it was faulty when it came to the battery. Simply put, the price it normally goes for and even the price I paid for it are just unacceptable for only 4-10 hours of playback. Especially since the specs on the thing boast 20 or so hours from it.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were just more honest about the battery life. I'm personally ok with 4-10 hours depending on the gain mode, but yea ain't no way I'm getting 20hrs outta this thing.

good video but I'm curious how many people here never stopped owning physical music I'm curious because I've been collecting physical media for a long time and I remember when Spotify and music streaming services became popular and some of my friends fun of me for continuing to buy physical media

I have this I think it's great but - Just a little warning about this device.. It's a wonder but its also very easily scratched I've only had mine a few days and it's covered with little scratches. And i was very careful certainly never put it in my pocket with anything especially not keys. My pixel 6 is near two years old not a scratch. Needs some kind of cover
