To be fair, honor is a good reason to kill Nazeem. We've seen time and time again, that people in skyrim value honor, to the point that it's a duel based on honor that got the old high king killed. Honor constantly pops up, to the point that one poor nord fought with the dragonborn to kill a necromancer based on family honor. Nazeem constantly berating you in skyrim and in public could be viewed as a personal attack on your honor, as he clearly does not respect you, regardless of your status. It's not a huge leap in logic to see it as a challenge.

In my humble Opinion Nazeem wouldn't even be good enough for that, I'd say kill his wife and children in front of his eyes, lock him up till he's desperate for food (make sure you freeze the corpses of his beloveds, we wouldn't want them to go bad now would we?), then "prepare" a nice feast for Nazeem with the "Resources" you froze with Ice Magicks and after he's done stuffing his face, tell him what you've oh so lovingly prepared for him! That would be my go to purpose for Nazeem... Entertainment =D

Nice, but an improvement: as he is slowly and quite horribly suffers dropped in a cage in that ruin we visit in the quest "letter from a friend" or whatever it is called, present him with a few sacks and scrolls of ice magic. Tell him you will let him have a some water whenever he uses the scrolls on the bags. make him be the one to freeze them to death. Then, cook them out of view, just as he is on the breaking point, present him with a plate of nice juicy strips of meat. A little at a time, keep him barely alive until he have had the meal about 6-7 times. Then... make a plate out of his wifes skinned face, and give his final meal served on that plate. Before you lock the door to never return.

Honestly, I dont see why not. A strange woman in clothes asking you to kill a random person because there is a contract on him, after she knocked you out and dragged you in the middle of nowhere. The only 2 logical options is to kill them all or to kill astrid. Since the choice there is if you would kill on command, not find out who gets killed. I mean, I helped Aventus to free the children. Grelod refused to let them be adopted even though she owned an orphanage because she knows they dont have anywhere to go. She just was building up a slavery. The only reason I would want that if I were to role play someone who wants to destroy everyone's live(its fun, sometimes you kill people, others you torture, gotta make sure you have enough health tho). It wont really affect the world, but its fun leaving some gold for Grelod if you're gonna be like that. Then Astrid tells us the only way to repay the contract, was by killing someone with a contract. Hell, I'd say the video on Paathurnax tilted more people than it would make them tilt on Astrid. The only thing I dont like about killing astrid is that it's good for the empire, and ofcourse you cant be an assassin, but really, if you killed someone to set all the kids free, then get invited to become an assassin, would you really become one?

BakedPotatoYT well, duh. But the series is why you should kill astrid. I mean, becoming the leader and listener of the assassins and having basically a monopoly on skyrim is the way to go ofcourse. The same for Father in Fallout 4. You want more because it has more. But breaking down the story: You find out that Aventus has been performing the black sacrament to get someone killed, you're interested in what he is saying. Not knowing what the dark brotherhood is, he kinda tells you about it and he asks you to kill Grelod. Then you go to Grelod to see if what he claims is true, because sometimes kids overreact to situations they dont like. Then you find out Grelod is basically making them slaves and the only way to free them is her death, so to free all the children, you kill the very old person who could practically die any second anyway to give their freedom. Then you go to bed, knowing you freed those children and feel good about yourself. After that, you wake up in a wooden shed and you have no idea where it is since it has no windows, with a strange woman talking to you about having taken her contract, then asking you to kill one of the 3 people who have a contract on them. And here comes the kicker: the vast majority of players, never killed someone you didnt need to kill(in my most playthroughs I find it very hard to fill the ebony blade, even if the person is useless in game, I just add all my enemies into friendly relations with me through console commands. There are always some scripted deaths that help fill it slightly) so this is the first time you have to be judge, jury and executioner. Altho, that isnt what Astrid is asking you, she is commanding you to kill someone with a contract, someone who might be innocent and you dont get to know the details. Vasha is the only one actually having done crimes that could deserve death, but Astrid refuses to tell you any details. The logical thing to do would be to kill Astrid since you dont know her, you dont know the dark brotherhood and she abducted you and commands you to do something. You know you can take her, its not like she is holding you at gun point.

Plus you know people's crime in the mission where Astrid asks you to kill one of the three by asking her, she'll tell you the story of each person or if not you can ask them. Some might have involve in crime and some is innocent that served as a soldier. You dont really need to kill each one of them, plus not all of those choices are innocent people.

That's a cornerstone mod, buddy. Aside from male and female nudity, extra gore, realistic physics, and Immersive Lovers' Comfort (the last two combine with the nudity to make "poor man's Sexlab", lol), you have to get killable kids. For both immersion and to deal with that little shit Braith (you don't have to kill her, just wait for a dragon to swoop in or some vampires to sneak in and attack the city and watch with delight as they show true and indiscriminate brutality XD ). For an added bonus, throw in Forsworn kids and bandit kids, to make fighting your enemies more tough as they will occasionally send a child to do an adult's work. These are all your basic mods for a light script, unless you want to go big and all-out and throw in your Cutting Room Floor, Civil War Overhaul, Bruma, and SCO (Skyrim Children Overhaul, adds orc kids to the camps and other kids of other races, comes with expansions that add Khajiit and Argonian kittens and hatchlings, plus makes Lars look more like his dad and Braith look more like her mom, which together with killable kids is a GREAT immersion mod) for a big experience, especially if playing special edition. :)

Here’s what I did: First I went to a fort I’d already cleared out and got myself a pair of footwraps. Then I killed Nazeem and soul trapped him with a black soul gem. I then used the Nazeem soul gem to enchant the footwraps with resist frost. Lastly, I reverse pickpocketed the enchanted footwraps onto Silda the Unseen in Windhelm.
