Glad you said rip off and not scam. Everyone is misusing the word scam. The contracts are telling. They arent hiding anything from you. They just use your misunderstanding of the business against you. And that's pretty much most business anyway lol. Cleaning companies love nothing more than a new guy to take advantage of.

Yep, also after you pay off them contracts, they still arent yours. They belong to the franchisee. And if the client starts to hate your work and complain too much they have the right to pull the contract back and resell it to someone else. It's a lot of shit about this that isnt ethical! This is all really good sound advice! So glad people like you are sounding the alarm! I literally almost just signed my name on the line of one of these freakin contracts out of desperation.

Because the customers are are logged into the system. But if they stop the service, then I believe they won't know.

You don't own those contracts either which means they still have control over it. They can throw you out for the smallest reason and resell them to a new franchisee. They are making money on both ends.
