I remember once I was stargazing in the country at night and since there was no light pollution I could easily see a host of stars. Suddenly one of them sarted to move around and vanished. Then I turned around to my cousin in surprise and she was like that star vanished. To this day I still don't know whether it's possible to witness a star dissapear with the naked eye or not.
