It's true I faced it. And a non deserving always try to mock a deserving co-worker. It's a 100% true thing. I lost my job due to this kind of a coworker. I did not want to play dirty games that's why I only fully focused on my work but did not get recognition at all ultimately. And a lot of misunderstandings about me got created in the office due to that coworker. May God bless me with the non-toxic co-workers and seniors in the coming future. I was so afraid of the jeleaos people that I tried dim my inner light and tried to look less knowledgeable

YES! One thing that I would like to add is - lack of professional ethics and lack of soft skills in corporate world is also issue. We Indian don't value soft skills (good & clear communications skills, professionalism, how to tackle different kind of offices situations and workplace issues, how to give feedback & criticism to employees etc. and so many things ) in a person when hiring especially for upper position. Vese sare junior level employees bhi sare dudh m e dhulle huye nahe hote, manages and upper level management and seniors are not always wrong because they also have to showup on daily basis and give results and business to companies, they also have to give results to upper management.

I know many of my young frineds who went till divorce as they dint know which matters most due to hectic work and politics due to performance ratings and job insecurity of layoffs. The society started recognizing people based on their job , their company instead of their minds and families. The entire corporates and govts made the young generation in such a way this is not the place to live, not the place to live life, to live peacefully, to actually live with people, to actually live , cook and eat , to actually hav some romance with their partners, to actually live with ur kids....
