I've owned many cars. But when I bought my 22 Hellcat Redeye Widebody Charger, it was my very first new car fresh off the showroom floor. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! Yes, I did pay a small markup. Something I never thought I would do. But this one time, I thought it was worth it. And it is. Four months later, I bought a 22 Challenger Scatpack Widebody manual. They gave me a perfect deal for my 2015 Scatpack Challenger. Yes, I traded one Scatpack Challenger for another. Just love those manuals. 😅 It ALWAYS leaves a huge smile on my face to hear the supercharger wine or become one with the manual. I ABSOLUTELY love trying to decide which one I want to drive. Don't get me wrong, this isn't about bragging or trying to keep up with "The Jone's". I work hard at my job and have been there for over three decades. I'm just trying to enjoy life a little and enjoy the fruits of my labor that God has blessed me with. Yes, I've gotten a lot of attention and not all of it good. There will ALWAYS be haters. I said all of that to say I don't really care what Stalantis does at this point. They can bring out all the EVs they want. And yes they can probably outrun the pants off my Scatpack and Redeye. Doesn't matter to me. It's all about the enjoyment of the drive. So, of course, I'll NEVER never get rid of them. They are here in the family to stay. Some day I'll pass them to my son and one day, his son. Keep your Engine Mopars people. They will never come again.

I'm with you bro. I've owned three Challengers, 2 of them SRTs, and now am in a '21 SPWB Charger. I actually prefer the balance and performance of the Charger due to the extra wide tires providing better traction, but EVERY one of my cars have performed with excellence. Yes, there are faster cars out there, but anyone that says these cars are crap, is either jealous because they can't afford one, or clueless because they've never even driven one.

Mopar owner here. The negativity will always be a thing when it comes to our cars. The thing that kills me, is when people say their too expensive this and that. In my area there is a high concentration of teslas, BMW’s, Mercedes and so on. Affordability doesn’t seem to be the issue on all levels, people buy what they want. If they are over paying for a car and can’t afford it, then they should of thought about that before they signed that contract. In no way will I give up my charger or Durango and love the shit out of them. 💯

Yes, the videos of people acting foolish in their Mopar vehicles has definitely made me reconsider keeping my Challenger Wide Body Scatpack. If the C8 Corvertte came with a manual transmission option I would definitely be driving one now. My Challenger is ideal for my mother to get in and out of easy since she broke her hip. I keep her handicap placard in my window which has helped keep the number of people who want to race at bay. I had a great experience a few weeks back coming from Raleigh, NC on I40. The driver of a beautiful yellow Dodge Viper and I greeted each other as we cruised down I40 navigating through traffic. When they took their exit we gave each other a wave and I felt content. 2 manual powerful V10, V8 rumbling Mopars enjoying a spirited drive.

The road to get my 392 Challenger was brutal and depressing, because of a dealership. Servicing my 392 is also a horrible experience. Insurance cost, WOAW!, unreasonably expensive, because of all the clowns who gave Chargers/Challengers REALLY bad name and reputation, but whatever, it is what it is. That being said, every single day when I drive this car, I feel happy and complete. The happiness that I get from my 392 covers all the negativity that comes with owning a Dodge, especially Chargers and Challengers.

The funny thing about insurance is that I sold my Tesla model 3 to get my 392 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack, and the insurance rates went down for me. I saved $200 a month by switching from a Tesla to a Challenger 392. Crazy right?

I have a 2014 Charger RT that I bought brand new. I love that car and can’t imagine getting rid of it. It’s been pretty reliable aside from two alternator replacements. What I love about the car is its simplicity and that it’s not “teched up” and maintenance cost are reasonable. I don’t race or do burnouts because I take care of my car and want it to last. Having a fun car to drive without car payments is perfect for me. Keep doing what you do because that is why I subscribe to your channel.

I don't own a Mopar, I have a Honda instead because I have a 100 mile one way commute to work. However as a 55 year old even if I wanted to purchase a muscle car the negative sterotype is real and needs to be taken into account. Also I'm too old and slow reacting to have to worry about someone sticking a gun in my face because they want to jack me for my ride. Also I don't want to get pulled over by the police, insurance is high I'm sure.

The reason why there's so many negative videos on KZbin about mopar is because people keep speaking on it daily so those videos are in the algorithm and people love hearing negative things so that's what's getting views now. If everyone would stop complaining and just get back to actually doing real car content, things would take a positive turn. I've been in the car scene for years and now that I'm older, mopar has changed. Mopars were largely vehicles heavily bought and owned by Caucasian males. And the dodge company saw how much those once younger guys still loved the mopars and decided to re introduce the next generations of people to the hemi powered vehicles. Black people largely get a lot of negative push back for owning the cars because it's not just a Caucasian demographic that's into them anymore, all different backgrounds of people love hemi cars now. so all of the negativity of showing blacks at street takeovers, and doing stupid stuff in them has given mopar a bad name. And to be clear, most people, no matter your ethnicity, get crazy in their mopars whether they're a v6 or v8 models. Then, somebody's always showing mopar owners getting robbed or high speed police chases that end in death, or the mopar getting away from police. I got a 2010 rt challenger 6spd manual because that's what I wanted and i still enjoy it now and I'm not trading it in or selling it. I do however drive it less especially through towns were cops are bored because depending on your background, driving these hemi cars through every area is highly frowned upon and I have experienced it personally. It sucks that it's that way but that's what it is!!

Feburaury of 2022. I bought the last brand new Trackhawk (2021 Trackhawk) in southern cali. They wanted 20k markup. I brought the markup down to 4k. Paid 108k and some change out the door. Absolutely my favorite vehicle ever. I also own a 2019 5.0 pp1 and a 2019 raptor supercrew. I rarely touch my other vehicles. I have to turn on my 5.0 so the battery doesn’t die on me.

3 months ago, I bought a Widebody Scatpack Charger, Frostbite blue. Didn't have it properly protected and you guessed it.. it was stolen. I loved it so much I did my research and bought another one, this one white with the matte black hood. This one has a kill switch, destroyer, and keeping it garaged til I get the alarm installed. I've never owned a vehicle that was fun to drive like this. Closest was the Audi S7.

You are absolutely correct, besides the sales bullshit from Dodge dealerships, a small group of people outside of the standard sales/ownership experience is the core catalyst for the vast majority of the negative press these cars are now receiving. I am lucky that I do not live in an area where street takeovers and auto thefts of these cars is prevalent. However even in what one would consider a safe area, if you drive outside of that area you are an open target. I have already had one theft attempt within the first 3 months of ownership when I drove to Biloxi, MS for a car show. I had parked in what I was told was a safe / secure area, luckily the attempt to steal the car was unsuccessful. My car was slightly damaged which required an insurance claim. I have decided to sell my 2023 ScatPack because the insurance rates on these cars is ridicules, after one theft claim my insurance jumped over 35%

PLUS it came with lifetime powertrain warranty, any time i get a tik noise, it's covered for free If I had a hell cat, keeping it for life. Thats alot of money

@HemiMuscle I love my Redeye. It’s the car I wanted since they first introduced the Hellcat in 2015, the brought the Redeye out in 2018. I had to have it. WhenDodge came out with the 807hp Jailbreak in 2022, there was no changing my mind I put my order in and waited almost a year. But, man, it was well worth the wait and the money even though inflation took a $80k car and turned it into a $100k car (my car is pretty well option though). Keep making your videos. I enjoy them showing you enjoying your car responsibly.

I bought my hell cat used and i am in love with it so far i will say the one thing i hate about it is not being in it and i can't live in it because you know adult things need to be done. They are great all around good on fuel when you drive them like grandma and watching kids of all ages from 8-80 get excited over the sound and the look is worth it

I'm keeping mine champ. When it's all said and done, these cars are fun to drive, very reasonable for the most part. And the best thing about them to me is that if your a gearhead you can add stuff to the engine and tinker with it and make them better and last even longer. I love my car. Said I wanted a scat at 17 and got one at 20. No it’s not the fastest car on the market but ppl who get 392s don’t drag race. Ppl talk about it get stolen…alarms and kill switches exist. Haters gon hate who cares

Negativity will never go away. youtube has become so toxic. Haters are going to hate it's not going anywhere, i can admit. im guilty as well. i never have anything good to say about electric cars. Definitely plan on keeping my hellcat unless i can get a good deal on the corvette ZR1 when it comes out. The best thing to do is not care what others think if you enjoy the car. That's really all that matters.

Most of the time people really couldn’t afford them then they get a ticket for doing some stupid speeding , reckless driving , dui I see it everyday insurance goes thru the roof mostly I see young people with not the greatest incomes who still live with there parents work just to afford the car and insurance. Backwards thing in my opinion.

Love my Hellcat! Purchased it way before all the bullshit started. Got it fully loaded out the door for 68 grand. Love to drive it and hear! Keeping it forever. I dont race it or beat on it at all, i just enjoy driving it on the weekend.

I think that with them puting the prices so far out of reach for the normal man it kinda turn people off... but I know it's Hella fun to drive I want a challenger scat or hellcat...

I still love my ‘14 r/t Durango!!! I had to stop driving it tho!!! Only because the gas prices are too high!!! I had it since 2016 before the hellcat or scat was out!!! Before the Durango I had a 2010 Charger3.5 high output!!! Mopar or no Car!!! Until that ev crap comes out then it’s no car 😔
