OP is not 100% honest. Every crossover he sometimes misdirect players to getting the wrong unit. Bazett is a THE skip. Chloe is better choice. Just use Chloe super arts if your using Houka and wants to use constant heal.

Im usually with you on most takes but I think youve been missing a lot lately. SChloe is not meant to slot in and be general use like for instance something like Hart she works well with a lot of light asc characters in the game right now. Are there better characters? If summer Chloe had come out before Houka she would make more sense to me. But her having worse artsgen and worse damage buffs, both of which are conditional, and tied to two different arts makes her a skip for me. Even if you fulfill all the requirements of being light and human, her buffs are worse than Houkas unconditional ones. Not to even mention the equip diff

In all honesty, Crit Dmg buff isn't that important. Only reason it's desirable is because Houka gives 300%. Other than that, what does he have? Type E Artsgen brings him down quite a bit. Realistically, he has about as much needed use as Rin&Luvia. If not slightly less because Type E Artsgen. Ultimately, he just makes things faster, that's kinda just his real use.

@ he’s far and away the best support unit in the game. He brings down everyone else in type E because he’s leagues better than other options in the type. The crit damage buff is great because you can use it in both phys and mag teams. Saying he has as much needed use as R&L is just stupid. You could say that about literally any unit in the game. You don’t NEED Shirou, you can use Kirisame or an awoken tank. Shirou is still top 3 unit in the game. Same with Houka.

@B1gBingus Nah, Shirou's a requirement for some stages, just as much as Kirisame, they're pretty equal. Houka is only used to make things faster. Except for 1 Story Quest, he's not required for anything. Not like Shirou is.

That’s just how the game plays out. If you’re a vet in this game you gotta save as many crystals as possible and that means skipping units that aren’t top tier, or characters that you just really like. It’s hard being a free to play vet in this game
