I've watched all of your Japan videos and they were all amazing! I liked what you said about the fear of missing out because that's what I have sometimes, and it really hit me that I am just one person and can't have everything. I also liked that you started accepting things that don't go your way and going from there. Thank you for the videos you make and hope more and more people will find your videos interesting! I know I'm a little late but, im 16 and i want to go to japan for language at some point, i feel like my head wants to stop my heart from moving. My mind feels like it's only showing me all the negatives. So I don't know what i'm going to do. But either way your video really inspire lots of us. Thank you so much!
@daveedwards46814 ай бұрын
Just for a bit of insight, I understand how you feel but I’m on the other side, I’m nearly 40 and can tell you for every negative your mind shows you to stop you from doing it, my mind shows me 2 negatives for why I should have done it and regrets that I didn’t. The saying that you only regret the things you didn’t do are very true, and you can always go back home if it isn’t for you. Your mind is trying to protect you by keeping you in your comfort zone but there’s no growth there - don’t waste passion and opportunity like I did. Good luck friend!

You're african/mexican american (I don't know mexican are considered native american) so I suppose you can speak american english and spanish since childhood, because of that your brain should be already in multi-language mode. So it can be easier to learn another language. the problem is there are 3 set of caracters, so masochistic, Korea dropped the Kanji and China adopted the Pinjin.... so much easier.

I was really wondering about studying abroad before I stumbled onto your channel. The videos you provide help give me a larger insight into what I might get into if I were to commit to studying abroad. Right now I’m considering taking the university entrance exam and applying to Japanese universities as a foreigner. My backup plans are the MEXT scholarship or an exchange program. Hopefully I’ll be in Japan for the long term. Keep up the good work ❤😊
