i own a xt4 and xh2 ,, just watched your video ,, both needed updates , i have tried both cameras without success ,, tried different sd cards but both cameras cannot see the inf that IS on the cards ?? any ideas

hey Scott :) can you put multiple lense + body firmware softwares on the sd card and still do it? or do i have to put one after the other to update multiple lenses? great videos!

They might. Fuji has already updated the X-T4 so I'm sure if they can improve it they will. Are you using the latest firmware?

@@ScottDawson don't got one but against Sony its slow i wanted it for sports fast moving objects but dnt think it will hold up tbh

Help please, tried to update twice with different formatted cards. Keep getting error message " no card found in slot 1 ,turn off the camera" Have checked the cards do contain the file ok. any suggestions appreciated !!

You can always try updating with the Fuji App.

@@ScottDawson Ok all good now , when the file was downloaded it came through with a (1) after the file name. I deleted this and hey presto it worked !! Thanks for your reply, what great work you do !!!!

Comparing the camera with a mobil phone is senseless. In my case, every time update a phone, two years later, I have to change it, and I'm not willing to change my the camera every 2 or 3 years. Now, why don't you talk about the fuji problem with the viewfinder' curtain? My fuji has 10500 shots and it was working perfect, no bugs, no problems. Until two weeks a go. The viewfinder's curtain stopped working. It doesn't close, so I can't use the EVF. Since then, I've been trying contact fuji, but they don't give me any solution. I bought the camera in Miami, but I live in Spain. I talked to fuji Spain, and you know what they told me? If you bought the camera in the US, you gonna have to contact fuji USA. It is not the same company???? I changed my Nikon equipment for this camera because I fell in love with this camera. but now I see it was a big mistake. Fujifilm. What a shitty company

Hello Scott your information has been a godsend hopefully you can help me out. So my XT-4 quit turning on most of the time and when it does it cuts off within a minute. I figured I would try updating the firmware. I downloaded the firmware update on to a sd card. When i get to the menu to download firmware the camera doesn't recognize the sd card. I formatted the card and the download is FWUP0024.dat, thanks

Do you have the SD card in slot one? Other than trying that if it doesn't work you might be best to contact Fuji for service.
