There is 1 interesting thing i notice when using Soundpeats Air 5 is the importance of codec, when i use it on my Iphone 14 with Codec AAC, it sound really terrible with flat bass, low resolution in mid and high. But when I use it on my Xiaomi 13 Pro with codec APTX Adaptive and Snapdragon Sound. It sound whole lots better like day and night, Bass now kick in strong, fuller, even sub-bass is presenting well. Mid still a little bit dailed back but can fix with EQ, vocal now sound much fuller and better. High are crisp and clear. It doesn't get harsh at high volume anymore. I also check some bad review about sound quality of soundpeats Air 5. Surprisingly, those who say it has bad sound quality are using iphone or phone which don't support Snapdragon Sound or don't have codec APTX. So my conclusion is this pair only sound good when using with a phone that have Qualcom Snapdragon chipset 🤔.

Former Air3 Deluxe user: one thing I HATED: I had to run the app to reapply EQ settings every single time I used them. I even returned them twice, thinking they were defective - it was by design. Has this been fixed???

With my Air4's it keeps the EQ even after disconnecting and connecting back without going into the app so it should be the same for the Air5 too.

Well worth an upgrade from my Air4 Lites. I hate full in-ear buds, so semi open are always going to be my first choice.

Yea and they are a definite improvement over the Air4 model. I actually never knew there was an Air4 Lite model until you mentioned it, thanks for putting that on my radar.

The one thing I dislike about these non ear buds is they always slip out of my ears. Could you find out any generic rubber slips, wing tips or ear hooks that could wrap around the earbuds so they will fit?

Yea the right side fits a bit loose for me, but it hasn't fallen out yet. You could search on Amazon for earbud stabilizers to see if any of those options look like they may work.

Which is better sound & call quality wise Qcy Melobuds Pro or air 5?

I'd say the call quality on both is good, but for sound I would give a slight edge to the Melobuds and I believe the Melobuds may be a little cheaper too.

I have the Air 4 pro's and they have excellent sound quality for the price. I can't imagine the pro 5's being much better. The Air 4 pro's should go down in price now, I'm happy with them.

Yea the Air 4 Pros sound fantastic. These are only the Air 5 model, but the Air 5 Pro model will be coming soon I'm sure.

@@nikimccrossan9497 Yea might be the next step, but if they add in the xMEMS drivers on the Air 5 Pro, it'll warrant the upgrade, but overall, yea if you have the previous gen, it isn't always worth the upgrade especially if you don't find the previous gen lacking in any way.
