Your so well spoken and polite (from an English point of view). Thanks for the video, its ones likes yours and many others which drive me to visit SEA away from cold damp Britain. Hey @Steve R…haha..thanks. I know we’ve got the Asian genes. But believe me, when we hit 80, it’s all downhill pretty quick 🫢🤣 Excellent! I’m excited for you that you’ve booked your trip to Nepal. I can’t wait to hear your experience because I haven’t been to Nepal. February is only 2 months away. It will come pretty quickly. You must be excited 🥳😎 Cheers, Victor

Same same but different? Please don’t switch to Thai language, because I do not understand Thai. 5555

It’s common for Thai people to say “meng kan” which means “same same but different” referring to most things look or are the same but slightly different. I know it doesn’t make much sense. But, if you’ve been to Thailand you would probably know what I mean. It’s a good point that there are parts in my video I should have add some captions for non-English. I had to speak in few different languages on this trip with the vendors. In English, Thai, Malay and a bit of Hokkien with the Thai Chinese because some vendors don’t feel comfortable speaking in English. They don’t get that many western tourists here. I only saw less than 10 western tourists on my entire 4 days there. Most of the tourists in Hat Yai and Songkhla are from Malaysia and Singapore. It’s not a popular destination for western tourists compare to other cities in Thailand. I will make sure to add some captions in Episode 2 video on this trip. Thanks, Victor

@@hassovonfritzeflink9148 ..oops…no worries. I wasn’t offended. I didn’t understand it was a dry sense of humor and I’ve lived with a westerner for 30 years! 🫢🤣..all good. Cheers, Victor
