Very interesting thanks Paul and Marie. I didn’t know that Downton Abbey was filmed in Berkshire. Loved the town centre, it seemed quiet there. You did a lot of walking, I’m glad you went to the Toby carvery…. And the Costa. I had a Frappa this afternoon. Delicious fresh cream.

We had a lovely cream tea when we went to Highclere but unfortunately didn't know that we would be talking about it 8 years later in a video so didn't get a photo lol, it was blooming nice though, we had a lovely day out. I very often go to Newbury on Thursdays for the market and the butchers on the bridge. Never been to the castle will have to look that up! My home town of Reading has some nice places. Forbury gardens, abbey ruins and the canal run though the oracle centre.

Oohh Reading sound lovely, we will add it to our ideas list so thanks for that. In Newbury a few years ago we had the best Fish Finger sandwich we have ever had at the bridge in a pub by the river. Massive battered pieces of cod, none of your limp breaded fish fingers at that pub, absolutely gorgeous but this was about 5 years ago so don't want to go back in case they aren't as good lol. We would love to go to Windsor and try the duck ferry, I think that's what it is called but the traffic getting to Windsor can be a nightmare. Would love to stay there but I bet its very pricey.
