Why You Should Visit Southern Sweden🇸🇪

In today's episode, we'll show you around our home country Sweden's southernmost province Skåne (Scania). We went on a weeklong road trip here from our hometown Gothenburg in June, just before Midsummer's Eve and the longest day of the year.

This is by far the best time to visit our beautiful home country of Sweden. Although we're in the southernmost part of the country here, the sun still sets around 10PM, and it never really gets dark as the sun stays just below the horizon before it rises again. We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university and live life full-time. We're planning to visit every country in the world before we're 30. By the time of posting this video, we're both 24 :)

We began by driving to the university town of Lund before continuing on to our AirBnB outside Trelleborg. From there, we explored places like Ystad and Österlen, visiting Sandhammaren, Malmö, Falsterbo, and more.

We need a list of countries you've visited. I was like 'Why would they skip so many countries from Switzerland to Sweden?'' when I realized there's a high chance that you've been to Germany (Hi) etc before. I'd like more videos from Sweden as I plan to move up there when I'm old and rich ^^ The official way with learning the language, buying a house and then just enjoying the nature around me.

What a fantastic video of Skane. To be honest, I had never heard of it before but I would love to visit now. It reminds me a bit of Eastern Canada. I am equally impressed with both of your English. Your word choice, intonation and pronunciation is amazing. Did you spend time in North America. They way you guys speak sounds more North American than British. I know that in Scandinavia, English is taught at a very young age and that you are exposed to the language but you two really are impressive. I saw your other video on Switzerland and that was interesting too. Is Sweden less expensive as Switzerland?

Dan has an American father and Oskar did an exchange in the US in 2013-2014 :) In terms of food and day-to-day stuff, Switzerland and Norway are more comparable and Sweden is definitely cheaper, but tourist activities can be equally as expensive!

Wow! Everything is so clean and orderly. Are most places like this in Sweden or are cities not as clean and orderly? Beautiful landscape and sea. Freshly picked strawberries from a local farm are so too. They have juicy centers and flavor unlike the huge, industrial, gristle-filled strawberries in American chain grocery stores. I'm glad that you are so out. I'm 62 so things were different when I came out at 19. Sad to say that being gay/LGBTQ,+ I'd still a problem for n so many places in n the U.S.
