Hey, got linked to your vid on Antwons 3a-1 review. Because you asked why anyone would want a 3a-1: I've been using a 3a-1 for a bit over a 1,5 years now. Imo, it comes down to the individual use case. I find the form-factor and pocket array of the 3a-1 perfect for quickly accessing stuff like phone, wallet etc. with the option to expand the bags' volume to hold at least one day of grocery shopping if the need arises. I had an (older but very similar to yours) orbit bag before which I almost never used because I found it to be more cumbersome in the end than simply stuffing the pockets of my pants with the everyday carry items. I also dont have to carry around a laptop, so my personal use case is very different to yours. I think you make good points about the orbit bag and the review-part as a whole is well-made. NGL tho, it's weird that you say the 3a-1 is the objectively inferior bag in general, simply based on your personal needs and what you view as "modern techwear". And all that without personal experience with the 3a-1 to boot. I don't think you do yourself any favors with that kind of stuff. (BTW aesthetics are subjective and I like both directions equally. I would say the 3a-1 looks as much like a WWII-era military bag as the R221 looks like any standard, all-black 20$ tactical bag from Amazon. Which is: surface level maybe. Different inspirations I guess) Acronym pricing is crazy tho and orbit offers more bang for your buck for sure, which is nothing that should be disregarded simply "because acronym are the OG". That being said, a 250$ bag that you never use because it doesn't really fit your needs is a worse investment than a 1500$ bag you use every single day for years on end. Could you kinda imitate a 3a-1 with orbit gear mods? I guess so, but you'd still loose the mezzanine pockets which are my favorite feature after extended use.

What's the point in comparing the R221 to Acronym's 3A-1 that has a completely different silhouette and use instead of the 3A-8TS or 3A-13TS ? And why are you comparing the R221 to a bag you have never even seen up close? The whole comparison part of the video really drags down the overall quality of an otherwise solid video. Your shots are great, the motion design is nice, your review is thorough. But wow, that second half is a mess.

Your review on the orbit gear bag was good but the comparison to the 3a-1 was really bad lol

The back side of the bag is not just “synthetic cheap “ canvass material. Its elecor their self developes fabric. You could get more explanation of the fabric at their website.

What a informative sharing Is it suitable to left handed user for the shoulder strap?

when you order you just have to drop in the notes that you are left handed and they will configure the strap for left hand use.

it's both left- or right-handed, the bag itself has four attachment points at corners on the back side, so you can place the strap as you want (technically you can even buy another strap and wear it as a backpack, lol) a bit late reply, just waiting for my r221 falcon 2023 to finally be delivered after two months waiting

You hit the nerve with this... There's no way materials, construction and design justify acronym prices, there's something more, something even Errolson hints occasionally. He says "you're not supposed to buy an acronym piece every release, you're supposed to buy one piece in a lifetime if you even can afford it" and I think that's either a statement about the fashion industry that most people really don't understand, or a flat out bullshit excuse to just get rich playing fool rich boys

Yeah high fashion do be like that. I guess it's worth what people are willing to pay and to be honest they are in a position to charge whatever they want because they are THE techwear brand. I don't mind the high prices of acronym as much as I hate the high prices of elite designer fashion because at least you get top level design and innovation with acronym. I mean there is a reason why a lot of bags take inspiration from theirs.

man, your content frankly is pretty bad, having just acronym in the title to gain views. Your opinion is biased, invalid to being with because you simply don't have the bag. plus you should really, REALLY vocalize since your way of talking doesn't sound very clear. No need to clarify that the 3A-1 simply is objectively better than the orbit gear you praise so much. if you care so much about carrying flat things just get the 3A-5 ts. You just value aesthethics over literally everything else wich is an flawed point of view, in the end the only thing why would choose to buy orbit gear instead of acronym is the price, that's it.
